Are you fascinated by New Orleans culture, Louisiana politics, sports, or want to see classic New Orleans commercials or even watch a historic event from the local TV news, well, you have come to the right place!
Our mission is to digitize and transfer videotapes and film reels in order to preserve the content and to make the programs accessible via the internet (CZcams) for educational, entertainment and research purposes. So amazing to be able to go back in time and watch news, commercials, special events and history from years past.
Tens of thousands of videotapes and film reels are destined for the garbage and landfills and many have already been destroyed. If you, your family or your organization has historic video tapes or film reels of special events, classic sports programs and TV News that were broadcast over the airwaves please consider helping us archive and preserve that history for future generations.
Troy Gomez, professional photographer and videographer from New Orleans Louisiana has been working to archive his own personal video collection. Mr. Gomez was the official photographer for the Louisiana Superdome from 1987 thru 2002 and also worked in the news industry for UPI New Orleans as well as with local news papers and magazines for many years.

Mora & Hebert dont get the credit they deserve for being 1st winning team in Saints History.
Aww man I love this! I remember the year they went .500. My dad was so happy. I moved out of Louisiana 12 years ago. I love hearing the real old school Saints fans from about 30 years ago.
lol .500😂😂
THE PRIDE & JOY OF SOUTH LAFOURCHE!!
See this how pre shows use to be. Not over top B.S. Talk football not drama.
Falcons fan here, I always liked Herbert. I remember he led us to a nice little victory over the 49ers in 1995.
Louisiana Cajuns!!!
Damn I didn’t know he was from cutoff
Ol Bobby Herbert Greatest GB Atlanta ever had
Actually, this is what was said in Cajun French: "Ça c'est un Grec pour nous-autres." That's a Greek for us.
If anyone know where I can find the video of my brother Kirt Bordelon who passed away from leukemia.. The video is of Kirt going to Bobby's house to spend time with him.. He became buddy's because of his cancer and Bobby heard about it. The new interview Bobby and my dad about Kirt loving bobby
little they knew that we wouldn't win a superbowl until 20 years later.
So true. Also, love the profile pic! Geaux Cajuns!
@@AlexHebert1995 thanks
That Dome Patrol was something serious back then. If Mora had the offense we got today back then ain't no telling how far the saints would have went.
We didn't have an offense because of Mora and Carl Smith. Hebert never had a deep legit deep threat, and even if he did Carl Smith was too conservative to take any shots.
That NFL FISH NET HAT IS A GEM!!!>>>>
Bobby is my 3rd cousin
So he's your cousin/your husband then? lol
E Vasquez no he is my grandmas cousin
Are his parents brother and sister?
twf2000 no

I like the way the Greek would tell you who to bet on. They will definitely win by 2 lol
Hebert was a stud.
We waited a lifetime for this winning season. Mora, the kickers, Hokie Gajan and one of the lineman, dang, I can't think of his name toured the state and did photo opps before the season. We all went down and talked to them Downtown, it was grass roots stuff. Mora was the man. So many bad seasons before him, and Jim Finks deserves a lot of credit too. I got so mad at TOM BENSON the owner when he hired Mike Ditka I gave up my season tickets and typed a nasty 2 page message to the owner Benson lol.... Ditka then proceeded to pick RICKY WILLIAMS AND give up I think 6 or more draft picks..........I stopped watching and didn't even watch the Super Bowl they played in. It was a magical
year with Mills Jackson Swilling and I can't recall the other guy at Linebackerk OH VAUGHN JOHNSON.... THE DOME PATROL.
You could not run on us I promise you. We used to laugh out loud when they would try to run on 3rd down., Eric Martin was awesome, Dalton Hilliard Grown men were crying in the stadium when we clinched our 1st Playoff game, its funny looking back. I saw some incredible stuff from Joe Montana and Jerry Rice, they were Legend. Montana would look one way and throw the other way and Rice would not break stride
@1:42 what’s he actually saying ? I know it’s not those subtitles but it’s been a long long time since I heard anybody speak French
Actually, this is what was said in Cajun French: "Ça c'est un Grec pour nous-autres." That's a Greek for us.
