I appreciate this because reading sociological surveys is so tedious.

I've listened to probably hundreds of talks, presentations, etc. This woman is so bad at presenting her ideas that not only the questions had little to do with her talk, but the comment section right here also is so intellectually poor. She talks all over the place, there is little coherent thread of thinking. Why are liberals always this confused?

Maybe you're just not all that smart or familiar with the subject matter? Have you considered that? This was a pretty advanced talk and made short references to a lot of things in a way that would require you to know more about the subject matter. You're projecting your own confusion, which is an unfortunate trap for most post-conservatives these days. There's at best a reluctance to even engage with ideas and intellectualism at best, and at worst, a wholesale rejection of it. Knowledge and intelligence are actually things that take cultivation and patience. If something doesn't make sense to you, you are probably the reason for that, and you have to move forward accordingly and wrestle with ideas until you understand them. The teacher isn't necessarily incoherent just becasue you didn't understand something. Work with it instead of against it.
CZcams comment sections, as well as most of the internet, don't need to be intellectually robust either. You can leave your unrealistic expectations at the door about that.
To remedy your confusion you're going to need to start with your own intellectual humility and honesty, start from scratch like you know nothing. Assume that first, then you can actually learn and grow and know things. Classic epistemic approach.
Good luck shouldering all the ideological burdens you've inherited. Remember that you can let them go at any time, but it might take years if you're lucky. It's a lot easier to let things go, you don't have to dictate your beliefs at reality, you can accept reality as it is first and let it dictate to you and how you should adapt to it and understand it. Otherwise, if you truly don't care, you are not required to, and you can put your money where your mouth is whenever you want and not bother yourself too much about grand ideas. Most of humanity have relatively simple lives and understandings, there's no shame in that.
It would be better for everyone, yourself and the world, if you passively abandon this broader movement that has so far actively sought to negate civilization and civil society. In some ways it would be better to simply be ignorant or uneducated, instead it is actively seeking to torch knowledge and the means of attaining it as grand falsehoods. It couldn't be further from the truth, which seems to be one of the general goals of illiberalists: to migrate humanity as far from the truth and the ability to seek and find it as much possible; shattering truth's foundations, as if some other truth can be built on top of it to replace all that is known and knowable. Basically a lot of people that have cultivated a mass movement with the internet that are good at lying to themselves and each other, fatalistically and cynically doubting everything until there's nothing left but nihilistic trolling. Vibes and impressions over substance, so long as it feels right, it doesn't matter to them that they never can be. Don't let them lead you astray anymore. A lot of money and a lot of highly concentrated ignorance has purchased you mind. Do yourself a favor and hit reset and check out, it will be much less effort and pain for you. Or you can try as hard as you can to progress through it. Eventually you'll find that you can't blame liberals for everything, and you're a lot more responsible for your perception than anyone could possibly communicate to you, for you.
