We only had three channels when I was a kid to watch on TV. We were lucky if we can get those to come in! So we played outside a lot! We had no cell phones, our parents couldn't check to see where we were, but they could drive down the street and find us! Sometimes to our disadvantage. :-)
@ArkMedic1, oh no, I'm sorry to hear you lost sound! Sometimes a quick refresh can fix those little tech hiccups. 🎧 And yes, you're absolutely right about John. I feel incredibly blessed to have such amazing support in my life-it's like having a constant creative wind beneath my wings. 🌬️💕 Thank you for recognizing the love and care that goes into our work, both on-screen and off. Wishing you all the goodness and positive vibes as well! 🌟
Unfortunately, while I was in the hospital, someone stole all my faints, all I paint brushes, all my wreath forms, on the flowers, all my embellishments, basically everything I had to be able to do anything. Once I get some money built back up, or I can buy my supplies, I'll be able to paint, make wreaths and hair bows again, and I want to get into resin. Then I'll get my channel going. I promise not to steal anything from you! But I do really love watching your videos. I accidentally got myself logged into CZcams under a different account, and stopped getting notifications. I just fixed that last week and I was so excited to get a notification to your paintings again! Love them, love them, love them! So instructional!
@ArkMedic1, I'm so sorry to hear about the hardships you've been facing, especially the theft of your art supplies while you were in the hospital. That's truly heartbreaking. 😔 Your resilience is inspiring, and I'm really glad that you're looking forward to getting back into creating art and even exploring new mediums like resin. Thank you for your kind words about my videos; they mean a lot! Remember, art isn't just about the materials; it's about the spirit and determination to create, and it sounds like you've got that in abundance. 💖 If you're working on building your supplies back up, perhaps you could start with some simpler projects that require fewer materials. It's a way to ease back into your creative flow as you gather more resources. Sending you all the strength and positive vibes. Can't wait to see what you'll create once you're back in your artistic element! 🎨✨
I'm so glad you don't do time lapse! Watching it at full speed is so much more informative for visual learners and it's also SO calming. I watch these before bed and my mind is engaged, but relaxed and I fall asleep so well! There is not a lot of content like this online so I always come to yours.
Put my grandma granddaughter spanks so much more eloquently than I do, so I did have her as my intro, non-published yet, so thank you for telling me about having children on CZcams. She was 8 or 9 years old, and painting just as well as I did! And she would go make a painting and bring it back to me, and I would be astonished! So I would do a video and let her tell everyone what she did! And it was beautiful! She just picked it up by watching me, and I was so proud. You want to display that!
@ArkMedic1, wow, your story about your granddaughter's artistic talent is incredibly heartwarming! It's amazing how the love for art can be passed down through generations. You must be so proud of her! 🎨💖 Thank you for sharing this lovely story, and for being a part of our artistic community. 🌟
@@TheArtSherpa sorry, my speech to text wasn't picking up my words appropriately, and I said that my great granddaughter speaks more eloquently than I do...
Lol, about the long "s" strokes!! Your lessons really help people to manage to paint beyond their skill level. I have produced some very special works that were beyond my skill level.
Hey cinnamon I wanted to let u know I finally was able to paint this type of background and be proud of it! I think having that first acrylic ground layer was the key !! It made the blending process so much easier and I realized it wasn’t the mop brush but u need that first layer of coverage. So thanks so much for always thinking of us and trying to make things easier!
I love Bob Ross! And I love you, because you're like the modern day Bob Ross! I love watching your paintings. You just need the mascot, like his chipmunk, other than John! Lol because, like him, you describe everything you're doing and why. You just go into more detail than he did. Thank you very much for your teachings! I learned so much from them, and I'm so grateful to you! Love you guys! ❤❤❤
Wow…I am amazed at the realism. Stunning! If you wanted to take it to the next, next level, you could have signed it backwards, like it was on the other side of the glass. Yeah, that’s crazy, I know…
This is the first time I’ve ever painted water droplets. You probably get tired of me saying this but I learn something new with every video. Love love loved it. More please!!
Even though I wasn't in the live stream, I watch the entire video, I enjoyed hanging with you, and I really enjoy this painting, and it is beautiful! Can't wait to get my supplies back and try it myself! I love the way you level!
Going to try this one tonight. Haven’t painted with you in about a year due to illness . Recently did a large birtch abstract for my granddaughter’s living room and small animal paintings of friend’s dogs. Back to learn more now. Btw love your hair it really suits you.
Hello, just wanted to say I love the up coming lessons for October I put a notification on for all of them. You have been doing some awesome lessons THANKS SO MUCH!
I came back after this lesson to say wow you thrilled me on the dark then highlights making drops leaf and the tiny heart become 3D lots of depth. Thank you Sherpa! ❤❤❤ 🥰🖌🤗
When u are doing the long drips does it matter if all of them have the white in middle to left or right side? Once u pick a side do they all have to follow that? Sry hope it makes sense I’m in middle of painting it .
I need zome help- i just finished the drops and the 1st layer of grey was too transparent.. but ive already done the rest of the highlights... any suggestion without ruining what ive done cause im super please with everything.. aside from that😂
It's not even good for adults. I'll be 64 next month, and I've been scammed four times in the last week, and I have had all men start following me all of a sudden, and four of them actually offered me $5,000 just to be their sugar baby! And then said no nudes, no sex. I would love to take their money, but I don't want to be their sugar baby! So I turn them down!
ONCE YOU JUMP FROM GOOD LEVEL TO GREAT LEVEL ARE YOU COMMITTED TO COMPLETING THAT DETAIL OVER THE WHOLE CANVAS? YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO AS A TIME COMMITMENT.
Sherpa is in control!
Maple leaf…symbol of Canada. Love it.
This is fabulous Cinnamon ❤❤❤
Omg, yes! I'm so excited for all of the Halloween and autumn paintings!!!
