The F-16C is a single seat, single engine multirole fighter that was developed in the 1970s. More than 4,500 units were manufactured and are operated today by 26 countries where the aircraft performs numerous missions that include air superiority, close air support, precision bombing, air defense suppression, reconnaissance and more. Few other aircraft can match its versatility, maneuverability, firepower, and huge production numbers.
Nicknamed the Viper by its pilots, the F-16 was designed with a reclined seating position for high G tolerance and a single-piece bubble canopy for exceptional visibility and comfort. Its lightweight and powerful F-110-GE-129 engines provide a greater than 1:1 thrust ratio.
Housed in the nose of the Viper is a multifunction APG-68(V)5 radar. The aircraft can also be equipped with multiple sensors such as the LITENING targeting pod and HARM Targeting System (HTS).
The Viper is armed for air-to-air combat with Sidewinders, AMRAAMs, and an internal 20mm 6-barrel Gatling gun. It can also be loaded with a wide range of air-to-ground weapons that include general purpose bombs, rockets, canister munition, Mavericks, laser- and GPS-guided bombs, and more. The F-16 provides endless gameplay in DCS World!

If they don't play DCS it is better to be alone.
It’s always easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. The caveat is that you only get a few mulligans a year. I shall be using mine on a new rifle purchase next month which she doesn’t yet know about.😆 From one Limey to another. Always remember FEFSC!
Now all we need is a dynamic campaign system and we can wrap it up and call it done

AND hopefully a much needed AI improvement, fighting against them currently is extremely boring.
jared9191 you could try BluFlag in the meantime. The enemy aircraft are human controlled and very challenging. It is also a type of dynamic campaign on the ground. It is not for the faint hearted, so you may need to be prepared to be killed quite a bit. However, once your skills improve it is very rewarding. I do agree, however, that ground unit AI needs improvement and, fragmentation effects of weapons like cluster munitions and air to ground rockets in all aircraft feel a bit wrong too.
You guys must know there are more than one dynamic campaigns already on multiplayer? Dynamic DCS server or Blue flag server...
AI will never be as challenging as a human piloted opponent or as satisfying to kill... Why anyone would want to play offline against AI when they can play online right now with a real wingman and opponents.. SMH .

@@manizaeim I think that's what the F15E is going to be, the full sim version and they keep the F15C as a FC3 plane for beginners.
It's pretty unreal. Never thought a Sim of this level would ever exist as a kid.

You may not be checked out in it, but you've heard pilots talk about the F 16. Those little wings - my guess is a Hornet (with those nice LEX's) would out-turn it times 3. Yes, Fighter against Fighter/Attack, two engines against one etc...but still. Sure is one sexy jet though.

@@Sublim3Transc3nd3nc3 At $60 per change, you might an as well do it yourself. You can get a $50 car ramp, oil filter, oil, and only be over that 60, by 5 to 10 bucks. But you will easily make that up next oil change.
DCS your launch trailers have become legendary, simply perfect, cannot wait to get to fly this in DCS. So many wonderful modules so less time to get and enjoy all of them. Really nice trailer as usual.

Every time a new plane comes out I am amazed at how incredible the graphics have become. This trailer was absolutely stunning. I had a lump in my throat.

@@Will-cl1ro -- Thank you, sir. I have been trying to track this down. In the end, I figured it was likely based upon his inauguration speech, but ultimately created today through some combination of computer programming or hired voice-actor.
I keep coming back to this and the 2018 and beyond trailer. both are so beautifully done.

Slightly off topic question if I may. How do you handle nausea with VR. I tried it once in War Thunder Sim and after about 1 aeleron roll I had to run straight for the toilet.

My uncle Retired Colonel John Morawiec use to fly the F16 in the 80s and 90s before he switched to the F15 for the USAF:NG on the west coast in southern Oregon. I sent this to him and he was blown away. Beautiful work!

3 years later and still watch this preview it's so good. Love hearing John F. Kennedy's speech in the opening. Don't know why it hits so hard in the feels. Must be the music mixed with it makes it so epic.

@DCS Pilot Lockheed produces the F-16 now. They bought out General Dynamics aircraft section in the 90s. Hope this helps!

How many Virtual Vipers have I flown..? Combat Pilot, Interceptor and Falcon, on the Amiga. Falcon 3 and 4, DI F-16, Back to Bagdad, Novalogic F-16 and probably several others, for PC.
