The 660LM is now selling for $319.00 on Amazon. I have been using this model on my CanAm Spyder for three years now with no problems. Great, rugged unit.
I have the same concern and spoke to Garmin. On the site, top right type in Zumo 660 and enter. You'll have an option for for the 660 model or 660LT (lifetime Update). From there based upon your model in the settings at the bottom right click on accessories, then cables and chargers $14.99
I run a garmin nuvi 260W on my KLR. if it rains I use a ziplock baggie. If it breaks I buy another one off ebay for $30-$60. I could buy and break 10-13 60 dollar nuvi 260ws and still come out ahead vs buying a zumo 665. that being said... I would love to have sat information on my GPS. That feature make me uber jealous.
I have been trying to connect my Garmin 660 to the PC so I can upgrade the maps but it keeps coming up 'connected to wrong port'. I'm assuming it means the wrong port on the PC but I have tried every port I have and it's still the same message. Any Ideas???
Still not sure it's worth the price increase... I feel like the only major difference between a motorcycle and car GPS is this is waterproof. And since I don't ride in the rain all that much, not a big selling point.
Horribly complex unit. Be prepared to study for hours and days on end before you can actually use it. About half of the owners I know never get the hang of it and use only a fraction of the features. Do yourself a favor and download a navigation app on your smartphone
A motorcycle GPS review sitting on a desk is not the best way to promote it lol. Haven't seen videos of that overpriced thing actually being used in a motorcycle
This is a great gps system. I just bought mine. Buy dig vis Ebay has it discounted for 329.99 right now you can find the deal at www.todaysmassivedeals.com
I bought one used in 2012,it has taken me from Ireland allover Europe with absolutely no problems...

+Texas ADV I've gone through a couple of Nuvis on my bike. Having them bust during a trip is less than convenient.
Hi, does the Garmin 660 and 665 allow journeys to be uploaded to Facebook etc?
Thanks.
Did you buy a 2455 and if so how did it work and how did you mount it? Adam in Daytona
I have a KTM 450EXC and dont want to hard wire it so how long does the battery last and how much power would it pull if i did hard wire it? Thanks
I power mine with a 20,000 mAh Audew power pack ($100) I keep in my tank bag. Works great!
your right on the price and features. But the 2455 has a horrible connector for power. the micro usb can't handle rough roads.

Pop off the back cover and remove the battery. You should see a port for connecting to your PC.
