What is junior B?
A hockey tier. It goes from best to worst AAA, AA, A, B, C
In Ontario it goes:
-Pro junior (OHL, QMJHL, WHL)
-Junior A
-Junior B
-Junior C
Regardless of the level, if you're not in Jr A or higher by the time you hit 16/17 years old, you can pretty much kiss your career goodbye.
XxCurlyManxX completely wrong, u obviously have no clue what ur talking about. First off, it’s major junior not “pro junior”😂 second the OHL is the only major junior league in Ontario, the QMJHL is the major junior league of Quebec and the WHL is the major junior for the rest of the provinces.
Junior A, B and C are like feeder leagues into major junior. junior A being the most competitive. And you have to be at least 16 years old to get into these leagues unless your are granted exceptional status (very very rare). If you are granted exceptional status you are allowed to play at 15. If you get this status you are, well, exceptional. Players like Gretsky get status.
