The learners of astrology should understand the basic and the hairline difference between the Rashi/sign and the Bhav/house. Rashi is fixed whereas Bhav/houses are Lagna-sensitive or could be any other pivot sensitive from which one may like to start his counts. Pushkar Bhaga degrees for Fiery signs = 21 degrees (span 21d - 21d59m), Earthy signs = 14 degrees (span 14d - 14d59m), Airy signs = 24 degrees (span 24d - 24d59m) and Watery signs = 7 degrees (span 7d - 7d59m). This categorization of degrees is based on the Tatva/elements of Rashis and shows how the degrees are important in each Rashis composed of different Tatva/elements. This Tatva-based categorization of Pushkar Baga degrees would be easy to memorize. Yesterday, in my comments on your video on Laghu Parashari on the excellent results-giving capability of Yoga Karaka planets, I posted a negative comment contrary to the verses of Laghu Parashri because of the worst results I experienced during the MD of my Yoga Karaka planet, Saturn. Pushkar Bhaga's degree is another answer to the same. My Saturn is placed at 7d38m in the sign Sagittarius, which is a Fiery sign and Pushkar Bhaga in the watery sign is 7 degrees. Fiery signs and Watery signs are composed of constrating elements, and, as such, 7 degree in a Fiery sign could be a weak point for a planet. I have noticed a God-gifted special virtue in you and in learned Shri Sachin Srivastava ji that you have not embarked on the disseminating of astrological knowledge with obliquely a commercial mission, so far. You do not organize paid webinars charging thousands from the participants and showing trailers of the same through free videos to allure the viewers for the webinars also. I salute your virtue. I have also noticed that many of us are confused about the appropriate usage of Rashi and Amsha in our astrological works/discussions. Many of us wrongly denote the Rashi chart by calling it D-1 and, thus emanate the wrong signal to the new learners of astrology. However, for the purpose of brevity, it is okay. Rashi chart is not a Varga chart, it is the mother/main chart or can be a Muhurat chart, at best, during the birthtime of a native. While using the Varga charts, we commonly say that the planets are in the rashi/signs of such and such planets whereas, there can be no Rashi beyond Drekkana and all other higher harmonic charts are Amsha charts as their names suggest, where planets are the Amsha rulers, and not Rashi rulers. Birth charts also deserve to be assessed as per Panchang/almanac parameters otherwise, great injustice could be meted out to the seekers of astrological counseling and I prefer to use Varanasi Panchang. I have strong doubts about whether planetary aspects need to be taken into consideration while assessing the Amsha charts beyond Drekkana. Varga charts are the harmonic charts of the Rashi chart of a particular Muhurat and have been mentioned in the astrological classics for assessing the strength of a planet in a particular area of life. Khavedamsha can be conveniently seen for assessing the auspiciousness and inauspiciousness of a planet. Planetary deities are also equally important in the Varga charts.
