Thanks for sharing this beautiful flower. I made it by spending the whole day long making it. It is very hard for me bc you don't talk. I love this flower since I was a child and I used to pick/steal these flowers along the Boulevard Road in Phnom Penh while I was waking to primary school in those day 1952 - 1960 . Khmer call Champa exactly like your title. Have a nice weekend Octopus.
In Thai it's called Leelaodee, but in Lao and the Northern Thai dialect it's called Champa. In English this flower is actually called Frangipani and botanists call it Plumeria. I would guess that the name Champa was borrowed from Khmer by the early Tai.

Hi All! Blender 2.93.1 here. I got messed up during the array modifier and empty part. Make sure the "Relative Offset" IS NOT checked. Be sure to only use "Object Offset". I think in my version "Relative Offset" is checked by default and that threw me for a loop. Hope this helps! Great tutorial btw.

The result i had done is not same, maybe there is any setting that different from my work. When i try to adding array modifier the duplicate pettal is became bigger and bigger. I do ezactly same as yours. Anyone knows what happen to mine?
it may be because you selected the wrong object before pressing Tab, or because you are in face or edge select mode. The shortcut to switch to vertex select is the 1 (not numpad)

you can use Geometry Nodes, I think it's pretty light
Great tutorial, unluckly i gave up on Blender, tried and tried to model less symmetrical flowers like salvia many times but it's too complicated.
it's asymmetric and has quite a bit of detail

You move the petal away from the origin and choose Object - Apply - Location

Maybe yo pressed "F" instead of "J" when creating the new arista, I had the same problem but i just did that step again and it worked
