For an even starker contrast, he co-hosts a podcast called "Help I Sexted My Boss" with Jordan North, a radio presenter from Burnley. It's my favorite poscast, period. Imagine this for half an hour with a sweet, pub-dwelling football fan, and you've got it nailed. I can highly recommend!
I don't think he's snobby and pretentious like some of you are saying. She has absolutely no manners and he was joking half the time.
He's pretty nice imo, and not snobby. When they greet each other he said 'how do you do' which was supposed to be answered the same way, instead she said "nice how are you" and he replied back "fine thank you very much". I've watched him several times and he deems manners of more importance than ettiquete. Which is nice!
Anyone who thinks this wasn’t 100% scripted and agreed upon in advance is a little slow on the uptake.
I believe "manners" is dictated by the culture in reference. She is American he is British. I give thumbs up for trying to learn something new. William would be considered rude if he went to Japan and didn't bow to greet.

@@crankyturtle9704 I doubt she had her body language written in the script. I've actually worked both in theatre and in TV since 2012 and when you do things like this, you get a script written in points, not every single word. So no, it's not all scripted.

They were acting this way on purpose so they could feed off of each other. It's probably scripted; she acts a certain role, and he "corrects" her for it. By the way, real class means not mentioning that the wallpaper is "expensive". And real money means not realizing that it is expensive, and therefore not being impressed by it.

OMG! Hilarious. They are hamming it up, of course, and playing up the stereotypical stiff Brit and brash American but it was well done...the questions, the snooty answers, the timing, all good. I suspect they had as much fun doing it as we had watching it.
