the thing i love the most about this show is the quality of questions and sean’s interview skills, like i watch a lot of episodes with guests i don’t care about but it ends being super entertaining because the interview is interesting.

Yeah, him and Nardwuar are some of the best hosts at researching there are and Nardwuar is leagues ahead of these guys. I think most celebrity guests are used to people asking, "So what was it like working with X person!?", "How did you fit into that tight costume?", or "I hear you're dating X person!?" Not really getting questions that are meaningful, are original, resonate with them, or care about who they are as actual humans. So, when Sean fires some really unique, insightful, and interesting questions at them they get taken aback and seem to feel appreciation for the effort put in.
I'm not trying to slight the Hot Ones crew but they are putting in just slightly more effort than every show should and everyone else looks shallow and boring by comparison, imo. They deserve the praise they get but it's ridiculous that it's such an uncommon thing to see. Is what I'm trying to say... I think?

The Insurance Panel idk sometimes I’ve gotten kinda mad cuz he either just let them quit or almost seemed to be encouraging them to do so. He should be pushing hard as fuck for them to do all ten. And I really wished he called out Shaq for using that “bet” as an excuse to chicken out without bruising his ego. Especially when he used his reach to just drop them in the bin. Thank you so damn much for writing this. I was beginning to think I was the only one who thought Shaq totally chickened out. That bet was such a feeble move for such a large man. Then to compensate for his fragility, he made Sean eat a wing with all 10 sauces on it. Sean was far too kind to Shaq. As far as I’m concerned, he’s on the wall of shame. You hear so much about celebrities, both negative and positive in the media, it's nice to see the other sides to these celebrities especially when when they're most vulnerable. This show really showcases all sides of celebrities and Sean does a fantastic job of doing this. This one in particular, I've only read negative things about Chelsea handler and here she seems much different than what I've read about her, keep up the good work Sean!!

for some reason i feel like that wouldnt go too well, and i love nardwuar. it seems like whenever someone that he's interviewing asks him a question about himself, he's hesitant to answer and just wants to stick to his questions. although maybe thats just because he wants to keep his interviews focused on the person he's interviewing

Almost everyone comes across as likeable when they're on this show. I think it's a testament to how much they enjoy themselves and how much Sean makes them feel comfortable. There's only been a couple of people that seemed slightly confrontational to me (Joe Budden, Action Bronson).

Sean was so comfortable in the interview and it played off Chelsea's personality perfectly. CZcams autoplay made me watch this one but I enjoyed Ms. Handler on the show a lot, great job to both of you.
