I do not speak your language. I turned to Google translator. I would like to say that your work is one of the most fantastic works I have ever seen on the Internet. Congratulations, thanks for sharing. In Brazil we have excellent places to fish, come and see.
You're absolutely amazing. Could you post a link to your drawing of the lure? I would love to make this but I am terrible at drawing and could never to it. Thanks!
Nice technique for pouring with hot glue! :) I myself have been thinking how to pour with hot glue for a while now...been thinking to inject same way as soft plastics but directly from hot glue gun... BTW, "be free" is becoming a catch phrase, eh?.. koodos to Marling Baits , and Solar Baits!
Just Wow! You my friend are totally amazing & very Gifted! Beautiful work in the three videos I watched of you creations so subbed so I can watch them All ! : ) : )
I would have thought you needed to rush to get the hot glue in before it cools. Thanks for this tip. You can now melt your old damaged lures into new ones.
wow awesome video! What are those little chunks in the second part of the pouring of smooth on? Is it chunks of left over dried up smooth on that you chopped up?
You could try and make a normal swim bait by just putting a larg weighted hook in after you make the lure by cutting a slit and then reheating around the area so it bonds around it or by just heating up the hook and then putting it in
seems like i made a mistake there, woopsie, its cograft. this is the knife i use in case your interested www.clasohlson.com/uk/Cocraft-Snap-Off-Blade-Knives/40-8379
First time watching one of your videos and I love it!! I do have a few questions I might have overlooked in the comments. Do these baits sink slow/fast or not at all? And how much do they weigh? Keep up the great crafmanship and tight lines.

Abraços patriota.
I have been using glue gun for making baits years back,
worked like a charm but never really bothered to put so much detail in it. Great work!
Some quality content right here! Not the cheapest way to make a lure yourself, but it's as DIY as it gets, thanks for sharing your skills!
Amazing what you can do with some simple tools. Great job.
Man this is just awesome! Your shows are well worth the wait!
Very large, complex and thorough work, especially with regard to the detail of the scales. Thank you for showing me!
This video is so inspiring. Your patience and attention to detail is incredible. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks phil
Wow the craftsmanship on these lures is impeccable.
my fingers cramped up just watching you carve the scales... Nice work
Beautiful work. Youre a very talented fellow. Thank you for the video! Its always good to see quality content👍
In my opinion, you are a Master of lure Maker, love watching you great job..
You sir, are amazing! Thanks for sharing.... good music too

You’re awesome man nice work 💥🙌
Unbelievable handwork skills!
That was actually kinda cool. Nice job buddy
Innovative as always !
freaking awesome man. keep it up.
My son is turning one this month, at his bedtime we watch your videos that is the one shows he likes.
thats pretty adorable
That it's good! You have to infect then with the pike fishing virus as young as possible! I do it with my son as well!
Cleaver idea and nicely executed as usual. Cool that you got some fish on camera as well. Nicely done...
The BEST of the REST 👌
what an awsome rule! Like Rapala in old days :) hand made! amazing mate
Power to the no power tools! Outstanding lure building!
Catching any fish on a lure that you made has to feel pretty good👍
NICE!! Thank you! Really well done!
What a great lure from some hot glue and time and effort but the detail you carved into the mold model was amazing congratulations sir.
The carving was actually kinda basic. My other projects like swimbaits i've made are far more detailed.
Thank you very much! Excellent tutorial, keep it up!
l like your patience & calmness.
Most skillful lure making !
Respect for your handicraft, nice one.
You're absolutely amazing. Could you post a link to your drawing of the lure? I would love to make this but I am terrible at drawing and could never to it. Thanks!
Great channel, lures, hot glue and Pike fishing, it's a no brainer for me 🙂👍
Awesome. Good video and nice catches.
You born artist, talent is in your blood
You have remarkable artistic skill.
haha xD be free! i wonder who that comes from xD
This is amazing. Buddy youre so skilled at this.
Great man. You gave me idea how to shorten time until season stars :)
34:03 Marling Baits wants his catchphrase back.
No Its mine now muahahaha
Nice technique for pouring with hot glue! :)
I myself have been thinking how to pour with hot glue for a while now...been thinking to inject same way as soft plastics but directly from hot glue gun...
BTW, "be free" is becoming a catch phrase, eh?.. koodos to Marling Baits , and Solar Baits!
Thank you for putting in the name of the tools you use.. I was wondering what they were 👍
i like the lures you make
Amazing! Good job!
I love it! Enough wobble with a nice belly roll. I think this would be a great trolling bait for musky.
Yeah probably would, you might have to scale it up a bit though
That's a lot of scales! lol
Really nice video, thanks 😁
Awesome video sir, I feel like I could make one of these lures myself, except for the airbrush. Nice fish too! Sub'd!
Awsome lure 🖤
Again masterful!
I've never watched your vids thank Marling for this recommendation
@@borealisgelidus4427 same here (you are better than marling)
@Jonathan Ortiz nice profile pic lol fax thought
@@williamselleck8165 he does try harder
@Jonathan Ortiz lol no prob
@@williamselleck8165 Equally good.
I always knew hot glue would be good lure material lol
Just Wow! You my friend are totally amazing & very Gifted! Beautiful work in the three
videos I watched of you creations so subbed so I can watch them All ! : ) : )
Thank you for watching and thank you for the kind words.
Nice good job sir.. Watching frm California
This is amazing!
omg, can't believe he actually carved the scales one-by-one!!! O.o
Pure art! Nice
At 18:55 when you use the vasoline, a good idea for using it with a brush is to heat up the balm until its liquid. Makes it easier to spread evenly.
It looks great
I would have thought you needed to rush to get the hot glue in before it cools. Thanks for this tip. You can now melt your old damaged lures into new ones.
technically that would work, however the amount of temperature and time it takes to do that probably would not be very practical in the long run.
Kudos for using s human powered boat! Fun video.
The old master Mikko does it again .
Cool lure
Just like before man. Exelent!
The music at 10:19 was soothing 😌 ✨ nice lure can't wait to try this one day 😀
Liked the music with the carving... Soothing
Thanks for checking out the video
Good technique! I also used it for building pilks. You simply take heat consistent silicone for the lead. BTW: are you scandinavian?
i like ur video... use unusual material to make lure is good effort... good job bro...
First time looking and im impressed gonna try this 2
Sup bro
Very skilled😍😍😍
Let us know if hot glue lures hold up in a hot car. Nicely done. Thx for sharing ✌❤
Tamara Buxton hot glue melts around 350 I think so it should be good..don’t quote me on that though lol
Winter is coming, hot cars are not a thing for next 9 or so months in Finland. Take a hot glue stick to your car, go figure and let us know
Hot glue is a definite nono in cars here in Queensland. (as I discovered the hard way)
Nice lure Solarbaits. Thanks.
Beautiful job 🥰❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😍
wow awesome video! What are those little chunks in the second part of the pouring of smooth on? Is it chunks of left over dried up smooth on that you chopped up?
they are pieces of old molds i chopped up to small chunks to use as filler
Your lure is amazing!Let's made jointed.
Awesome! I would love to see a jointed hot glue lure next?
JSF 4star try this tail action on hinges lure, interesting.
nice lure
Very good artist. It is the best hand work with the help of knife. Thank you dear, long live.
I’m simply going to have to now 😂
hard and xpensive nice job men
I watched the great video with pleasure, congratulations like
so nice can you make some lures for deep fishing freshwater like nile perch and tiger fish
Great work as always, Mikko. I watch your vids for the amazing lures, but I always miss living in Finland more after watching.
Excelente trabalho. Parabéns!
You could try and make a normal swim bait by just putting a larg weighted hook in after you make the lure by cutting a slit and then reheating around the area so it bonds around it or by just heating up the hook and then putting it in
Your move, @MarlingBaits!
I think it would be difficult to beat the block of wood bass lure. Maybe a bar of soap?
Woow great lure...
Watched you our years now, your an amazing artist. Love your work and attitude.
Thank you for sticking around, i appriciate that 🙏
I did this like a year ago but I did a crank bait. And I caught a bass
Nice work there!
Any teeth damage on the lure, chipped chunks or something like that?
there is of course some damage but nothing major
good job!
Your a genius !
I would not go quite that far haha, but thanks 👍
nojoda!!!!! el mejor que he visto hasta ahora la técnica de escamas mas laboriosa
Another great video. What whittling/carving knife you use. Googled Congraft handles, no luck. Is that strictly Euro.
seems like i made a mistake there, woopsie, its cograft. this is the knife i use in case your interested www.clasohlson.com/uk/Cocraft-Snap-Off-Blade-Knives/40-8379
Ive done this, but yours it a lot better looking. I didnt color one , the other o just painted the top black.
To remove the bubbles you can heat with heat gun or hair dryer something like that
Make a lure using lure varnish like you did with the hot glue the cab varnish thing
Can you a video of diving version with a bib on the front ,your are a master of creation ...
First time watching one of your videos and I love it!! I do have a few questions I might have overlooked in the comments. Do these baits sink slow/fast or not at all? And how much do they weigh? Keep up the great crafmanship and tight lines.
I made a selection of slower sinking ones and little faster ones i think the slow sink ones were 45g and the heavier ones 55g.
@@SolarfallBaits Thanks for your fast reaction, appreciate it.
Great lure! Have you tried combining a soft plastic tail with a hard material body? Best of both worlds?
i have first of that kinda i made back in 2013 and even recently i made one that looked like this czcams.com/video/a2IIhyfIR0g/video.html
Nice! The wood lure that you use as a mold do the same work on the water?
yes if you weigh it so that it sinks
