marth, lucina, roy, chrom. Marth to roy is basically fox to falco
4 of them are based on the same move set like fox and falco are
I'll agree that Marth, Lucina, Roy and Chrom are very similar, with some small animation changes, 2 different specials, and different properties on their swords, so they are very close to being echos of eachother, here I'll agree.
But calling Ike, Robin, Corrin, and Byleth another copies of Marth is disrespectful. Outside of Lucina and Chrom, they really tried to make next FE fighters have their own flow and gameplay.

Like some of the craziest clips from the mid-2010s are Wes being the most technical player in the world
Because like most of the Ultimate players and other Melee players, he was exposed as messing with underage girls.

@@mandalorianhunter1 Everything against Westballz was proven false. The main accuser was a proven liar. But no one follows up on the accusations so his name is still smeared despite not being guilty. And people really try to say fake accusations are no big deal.
That was the cleanest transition from an intro into a plug for proguides I've seen yet. Me : WOAH that aint falco.
I really like playing falco in Ult. I wish his laser was better but I know I would get heated playing against a falco that used it
I definetely like falco better because his movement makes consistent setups and his combos in ultimate are rewarding. Fox, although I like his shine, doesn't have those consistent combos like falco. And because of his fast fall speed and lower jumps he is definetely harded to juggle with or do vertical combos, which to me are the most effective.

I think that he'll work on the competitive history of Luigi someday. However, I just noticed that he hasn't posted any new CZcams videos in about a year. So, it might not happen exactly right away. While you're waiting, check out on how Honest Content posted a competitive history of Luigi from Smash 64 to Brawl, but he does mention about Project M near the end of the video. The title of the video is called "Why Luigi is painfully average in Melee." Yes, he used the word "painfully" as part of his title.
I was really hoping for a westballz mention, the guy has the craziest clips in melee.
It's funny that most of the changes that were beneficial in Ult were just straight up altered tools from his Melee toolkit. His new up-tilt is basically just his Melee shine. His bair lasts longer. His Down air combos and sets up edgegaurds again. His new fair is a long lasting hard gimp tool like his old dair. His up b kills again. Would he be better if he was more like Fox? Yeah, very obviously.

fwiw zhu was probably around top 10 level in 2009-2010 with numerous top 8s including Genesis, Pound 4, Apex 2010 and Don't Go Down There Jeff
Shiz was also super important to the Falco meta around '07-'09ish, PPMD says he initially tried to emulate Shiz when he picked up Falco (and I think Lamb Chops, another Florida Falco main). Maybe the video didn't mention Shiz because of his homophobic comments.
Funnily enough, though the video says that Ginger is more in the PPMD mold, Ginger says all the time that he bases his playstyle almost entirely on Mang0's, and has taken much more from him than he has from PP. Though you could argue that how he approaches the game bears more similarity to PP, because they're both more methodical and analytical than Mang0.
Falco Lombardi has worked too hard. He's no longer a Fox clone. He's his own thing and I like the thing he is now.

No mention of Westballz in melee? He pushed the meta in his own direction there for a while.
The only thing I can really think of that Melee falco would suffer from in ultimate would be a lack of wavedashing. Assuming all his aerials were kept at L cancel lag similar to Ultimate aerials and his shine still had all his properties he would be pretty good
People cant powershield his lasers back at him
Weaker SDI would make his shine stronger despite no waveshining
He has powerful moves that have slight disjoints for days
Autocancel back air too
His only real downside would be lacking the ability to act out of side b like in ult, but if he got that he'd be really good
And if he got his ult throws + uair and f-air he'd be probably up the top

If you tell me no as although he did stay as top tier in brawl he became low tier in smash 4 and is struggling a bit while fox is top tier or high tier and while fox did worse in brawl he atleast he was upper mid which could avoid he's struggle and avoid being low tier once

I dunno. I don't really think Falco struggles to kill that bad. In addition to back air, which can be comboed into from various other moves... He's got down tilt, Up smash for anti airing, and down smash for tech situations as well as forward tilt for tech set ups. And F-tilt and down tilt is also safe when spaced.
When's competitive history of Donkey Kong
He will have a is Diddy Kong top/high tier video. It seems a character has to be around from at least melee to have a competitive history.
There are at least players for each character. Melee Bowser has Gojira as active. Popularity of use should not their history shouldn't be shown. Something I am wondering is how many games does the fighter have to be in. This is why I'm conflicted on Snake or Rosalina to have their videos.
@@sharsasuke01 We only know they need at least 4 smash entries. The question comes with Ice Climbers, Dr. Mario and Mewtwo. Heck, Toon Link has more likely chance than Young Link.

there's nothing under his boots. star fox and his crew replaced their legs with metal implants so their blood wouldn't rush to their feet while flying.

Of course he is better off being different than fox. I guess it just turns out that in Smash 4 they messed up. Honestly it would be annoying if he just had the same exact moves as Fox with slight variations like in melee. I think that was acceptable the first game he was in, but from then on I'm glad they actually changed his moveset to make him a little different.
also put black shadow in Super Smash Bros and make him be the power version clone of Captain falcon as that would make a lot more sense because they're both from f-zero and ganondorf is from legend of Zelda and really shouldn't have a similar move set to Captain falcon at all and not to mention ganondorf deserves his own unique moveset.
Melee: One of the best characters in the game and was considered the 2nd best character in the game but is now considered 4th best by many top melee players only being beat out by puff, fox, and marth
Brawl: is again one of the best characters in the game but not for a good reason (cough, cough...CHAIN GRABS...cough, cough)
4: why are you not using fox?
Ultimate: better than 4 at the start of ultimate but Falco still wasn't good enough to be considered a good character. Eventually got buffed and some now consider Falco as a high tier character. We won't know what tier Falco is until offline tournaments come back but it's looking like Falco being high tier has a very good possibility of being true

i actually love his new shine, its a defensive tool that you don’t have to strictly use for defense, meaning that weather you use it for defensive or offensive play is entirely on you to decide

@@ProGuidesSmashBros that's great. But it's no reason for erasing history. Every one of those people are pretty much deactivated from the scene and game. That said, their legacy should still stand for the game separate from their personal lives.

Playing against low level Falcos is the most boring and frustrating character to play against, nothing sick about laser spam without thought, down airs to shine no matter what
I’ve recently wanted to start play Falco in ultimate he seems like a cool character to play
He is fun to use but man is it hard to get a kill with him sometimes XD still reccomend picking him up tho

I suck at the game but i absolutly recommend him he can be really hype at times and his edgaurding is amazing and his combos are really good

Modern Falcos have cool potential to be different yet good yet he feels worse than the rushed Fox edit.
That’s ultimate’s biggest issue, almost every character has unexplored tech and “potential” yet instead of doing so the “”player”” base opts to just go “pls nerf” every time
@@doctordice2doctordice210 yeah it’s the sad reality of the modern mindset. I feel like part of that though may be the expectation that changes aren’t made as carefully because they can always fix it later. Therefore experimenting isn’t as risky so devs might as well do it maybe?
Thus when things do go fucky, “please nerf” may be a somewhat valid thing to request, but I see people asking for nerfs day 1 of a character being out sometimes before they even have the potential to discover their weaknesses.
@@HaydenTheEeeeeeeeevilEukaryote i agree with the second point, i feel the patch culture in-itself isn’t inherently bad, if used right it can help by not allowing characters like smash4’s bio or brawl’s meta knight to exist (which is a great thing!) and having your main get buffs is a good feeling
But i think that culture de-incentives the need to find techs and evolve the game’s depth past the neat little box Nintendo intended the players to play in, which hurts just about anyone who’s genuinely passionate about the game
It’s not all doom and gloom however, there are characters that get neglected by that patch culture and as a result have their players explore what the character can really do (jiggly puff and isabelle being good examples, i can link some neat videos if you’re interested)

You didn't talk about the biggest, most important change to Falco going into Ultimate. His changed voice lines, combined with taunt cancelling creating the most top tier kill taunt in all of Smash. "Hands of my COCK!"
