He continued it for several years and won 4 amateur bouts before joining Nottingham Forrest. Even though he played professionally, he continued to box to release stress. It was so affective that Sir Alex made all of the players start boxing as part of their training routine.. so sit down and shut up you moron 😂😂

Players like Ferdinand and Fletcher needed pep talks from Roy to keep them on their toes as they were very good players, not great players. Ferdinand was error prone and dropped a clanger by missing a drugs test resulting in him being suspended for a season. Fletcher went missing in most of the finals United lost, but always gave 100% even though that meant losing to better opposition. Van der Saar was almost flawless, so I don't understand how Roy thought Edwin needed a pep talk. No one's perfect, eh?

Furguson and Keane were both big people...1 was captain and another a manager of the most successful club. Keane use to bring discipline and run the dressing room. Even it has been said by them that Fergi blamed him to be at times getting into the domains of managers work. This ego was the biggest reason for the quarrel between them. If what Ferguson says was the reason why Keane was let off..why not bring the video out. What was said in the video...now no one knows. People who talk about culture, DNA, hardwork and the effort a Man United player should make. These were formed by both fergi and Keane. Every player of that united era would tell you that it was the fear and discipline of Keane that rubbed on to other players. He was a important element, the leader of that winning side during games and in training. And the qualities continued till the players who played with him continued to play. Fergi should remember that Keane was instrumental to the building of the famous team that got him big laurels as the best and the most successful Manager.

He was past his best. Ferguson was a great judge in knowing when to call time. He also called time on Beckham when he realised that he wanted to be a celebrity. His favourite is Ronaldo to whom he was a true father figure. Imagine what a career Beroge Best could have had if he had had the guidance of a Ferguson.
