Thank you!! So the way I handled the intros- I asked on Instagram who was interested, and randomly picked from those who said they'd do it. Then I asked them for the specific intro video I needed, they sent them to me by the certain deadline given, and I put them into the video! :D Next year I'm thinking maybe a different viewer contribution for each part... like tips, memories, a favorite, a peek at their collection, something fun :) this was SO COOL to get people involved and everyone was so cooperative. Tip of the iceberg for next year!

Oh my gosh that suave daily clarifying shampoo has had a place of honor in our showers for almost 20 years 😂❤! It works as a head to toe wash in a pinch as well!💕

Good morning Emily! I appreciate all that you do! It's clear that you did so much hard work in choosing your products but it gives me good memories of this past year. One Ordinary product that you did not mention that I really like is the 10% Lactic acid serum. it is a gentle but very effective exfoliating treatment. I also use the niacinimide and really enjoy that one as well. Have a wonderful rest of the year! Edit: Your heart felt message at the end really touched me. I have been watching you for around 10 years now and I always come back to you as a source of comfort and joy. I love you so much!❤❤
@@emilynoel83 I use a retinol at night most nights but I try to alternate every 3rd day with the lactic acid. I then put something pretty nourishing over it, like niacinamide and then a skin oil, followed by a nourishing cream like vanicream. Niacinamide plays well with other forms of skin treatment according to dermatologists, and you can use it during the day or night. One thing that I saw Angie from Hot and Flashy do was use lactic acid during the day over the niacinamide serum and then use a good SPF. I'm considering doing that but I know it might lead to more skin irritation so I'm going to go very slowly.
I totally cried at the end. My husband and I just celebrated our 10th anniversary in October and then deployed in early November. It's been a very lonely holiday season. This is our first deployment since we have been together. He's had a very fortunate career where this is the first time we've been apart. But this is our favorite time of year, and him being gone hurts so much more. Your videos are so comforting, and I look forward to spending my saturday mornings watching you. Yes! I do the same with my CeraVe cream, great for under the eye prep. The Suave clarifying shampoo works wonders for tight curly hair too. We tend to use lost of products to keep our curls juicy and the products tent to build up. So I clarify 2x a month, the rest of the time it's a moisturizing shampoo. 🍒
I can't express how happy I was to see this video today. It brought me comfort that some wonderful things continue. My world has been chaotic, and 3 people in my life have passed away in the last month. I always look forward to Emily on Saturday. A routine that grounds me.

Hello Emily. Thanks for being you! I have a condition called Meniere’s Syndrome. At one point I could no longer drive and was pretty much of a shut in at home afraid to go anywhere because I might have an attack. Listening to you helped so much with the loneliness I felt. Makeup is my passion and you brought me joy each day. I had a procedure done in 2021 and now I am able to drive again. I am a retired doctor. I lived in Carbondale in 1983 during my first year of medical school. I could go on and on. Just know that I love you and appreciate you so much.

Yes! I do the same with my CeraVe cream, great for under the eye prep.
The Suave clarifying shampoo works wonders for tight curly hair too. We tend to use lost of products to keep our curls juicy and the products tent to build up. So I clarify 2x a month, the rest of the time it's a moisturizing shampoo. 🍒

Oh Em, here I am crying now. Thank you for your kind words at the end. I love makeup! I get excited about a blush, a lipgloss, a mascara. It’s a creative outlet for me and makes me feel good. However, my close friends and family, although they wear makeup, it’s not hobby like it has become for me. Thank you for what you do and for creating this community. I’ve learned SO much from you! Hello Emily. Thanks for being you! I have a condition called Meniere’s Syndrome. At one point I could no longer drive and was pretty much of a shut in at home afraid to go anywhere because I might have an attack. Listening to you helped so much with the loneliness I felt. Makeup is my passion and you brought me joy each day. I had a procedure done in 2021 and now I am able to drive again. I am a retired doctor. I lived in Carbondale in 1983 during my first year of medical school. I could go on and on. Just know that I love you and appreciate you so much.
