I ride a 2014 ktm 150sx too and the bike is more than what I need when riding. Definitely a great bike for recreational use on track

Just picked up a 2015 150SX for the mrs… if she doesn’t like it, I’m keeping it. 😄
Would this bike be a good use to a 6’2” tall rider (190-200lbs) ? Or go for a 250f ? Don’t really want a 450. Just want to ride for fun. Mostly open desert. Not racing much.

Go with a 250 SX or The Husky TC 250, both 2 strokes and fucking fast. You'll love it, I've had mine for 5 months and so happy I said with a smoker.

I disagree with them. I say a 125 or 150 would still be good if youre riding for fun.. I have a RM125 and I'm 6'3 193lbs and it carries me just fine.. A 4 stroke would have more bottom end torque but it comes at a price.. More expensive maintenance on a 4 stroke..

Harvey Mutten describe what yours is doing my 2018 150 is acting up also
chd483 when i first bought it it would bog like there was no tomorrow from the bottom and so i lowered the needle which helped but still not great after twisty trees as it would choke up so i then changed the pilot jet. Atm it seems better but not how it should
If you have the money go lectron carb. Best thing since sliced bread for a smoker
