Hey Everyone! ) I’m Anna and welcome to my channel. Here, I post some useful information for English learners. I’m from Ukraine and I’ve worked on my English and accent, for the most part, on my own, but you can find out and trace my story by watching my videos. I’ve been studying American pronunciation for a long time, and I still do, and I guess I always will - because it’s not math. Learning a language, it’s a lifetime journey. Teacher, I agree with you that shadowing is the best way to improve your speaking abilities. I appreciate a lot your of online courses.
The more we practice the more we'll learn in less time. I've heard about listing English while sleeping; well, it works but I'd advise you not to exceed 1 hour. Also, it's better to listen to phrases that you have learned previously. In that way, all of those phrases will be moved from your short-term to your long-term memory. 🧠💡

@@azeemdahri3799 There is a couple of techniques that I've used to increase my vocabulary. I research new words and wrote them on pieces of paper, you can also write the meaning of those words at the backside of the paper. It's crucial to repeat those words as much as you can so you will memorize them. 😉 All the best to you! 😒🌟 #fluencyonitsway

This book has many useful methods for learning a foreign language, how to develop your memory, how to memorize words, learn grammar, quickly learn to speak, read and write. All recommend this excellent book! Good luck to everyone in learning a foreign language!

I started little long Time ago learning English..now I can handle much better than before..
In my case, I try to make shadowing with the movie stars I like but it's complicated when you live in a country where people think you're crazy if they hear you speaking English just because they don't like this language but it's good to know about these tips, have a nice day Ana. Nothing could have been any better than this. The most relevant advice which a person can give when thinks comes to mastering the art of speaking a language. She has completely justified the subject . If one just simply comply with atleast 25-30% of what she is suggesting then that will create wonders. You're my motivation Anna you're the reasoning behind my consistency in learning American English . I never thought that one could ever really become fluent in English until I saw one of your videos about your fluency journey on YT . The reason why i used to watch videos in english was just because i loved listening to people speaking in American English . I never thought that i would be able to improve my English in a short period of time . Until the pandemic, I taught in person to people who had relocated to the States. But last year I started learning how to take my teaching online, so it has opened up the world to me. I started making CZcams videos...and so I also like to see what other people are doing. Arnel is my very favorite person for explaining grammar. I really like her style and personality as well.

Thanks for the refreshing absence of "woo-woo crap"! I think a seven-day intensive program is a nice, manageable chunk of time that's long enough to make a real difference.
But - why would anyone hate shadowing? Isn't it fun and productive...and pleasurable?
well, people are different. For some this repetitive act AKA shadowing is wearisome :)

@@Denneeyboy Your comment is a good reminder for me that different people have different taste. I have a taste for fun, pleasurable repetition...but it's good for me to keep in mind that my students have varying degrees of tolerance for repetition.
At the same time, I have two questions for you.
1. How can you make anything automatic and effortless unless you repeat it?
2. Aren't there songs you have loved playing over and over?

I can testify that , after not having to interact with English as often for a year ., My speaking were drastically decline like my tongue couldn't move as easily as before.. tongue muscle memory are real, and no one should take it for granted. I even experience it myself with my own native language since my first transition in english and living in english. So basically now I have to learn both language ( english primarily ) from scratch. #the struggle of mother tongue-less is real.. But thank you for your useful tips, It definitely helps me improve my speaking by tons..
