Hi Steve, that was...EPIC!... absolutely the best bag video ever. I can imagine just how delighted the owner will be when she is reunited with that bag! AMAZING!!! Much love and respect to you and yours from the UK 😁👍
the treasure of the sierra madre. Great video true craftsmanship
Fantastic restoration--as usual, the work of a perfectionist. I love the fact that the bag is 34 years old too--nice that the owner recognized the value of an old bag and wanted to bring it back to life. And the new straps are a thing of beauty. Even the inner lining is gorgeous. Thanks for this handbag video Steve--those are always the most fun to watch.
You Sir did an AWESOME AMAZING JOB 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I'm not a LV fan, but I love the design of this particular Louis Vuitton handbag. As always, Bedo's completed this project beautifully.
Holy Blazing Saddles Superman, great job. Thank you for sharing!
WOW! The craftsmanship on the handles of the bag!🤩🤩 I never get tired of your stories or handbag restorations. 👜
The craftsmanship is nice yes. But airbrushing those natural leather handles goes against every single Louis Vuitton rule. Those should have been stayed natural and age naturally. Or rubbed in with a oily substance if you want to darken the leather. But spray paint the handles?!?!
@@maikvdz251 It's a dye
LV really should appoint you as an approved repair centre. Really nice restoration as always.
Steve ! Ths. For all your years of hard work to become the top notch pro perfectionist that I See right now !!!!!! I started in Custom Upholstery in the middle 60's ! Furniture, priceless antiques, custom made, yachts in Newport Harbor, Cal. It was 5 yes. Entry level ! I'd been sewing & creating hand made clothes for my kids & myself, knitting sweaters & anything I could think up to create ! Refinishing old furniture & antiques !
I am at the point now where I will just listen to the video and not watch. I had fully intended on watching it, but my attention got pulled away, but I kept listening to the process and and your stories. Good way to keep my mind occupied. Excellent as always.
Recycle, rebuild, renew, rejoice!
Mom & Pop businesses will always be choice #1 for me. 😊👍
Great job Steve, true craftsmanship. 😊
The younger generation won't stay long because this is hard work and they don't have as much respect for skilled work requiring real elbow grease.
Steve! I had to rewind and watch again; I fell asleep! That said, you did the heck out of that LV. I especially love the fix to the front snap for a secure fit. You're a genius!
That is now a work of art.
Great transformation on that tired old bag. Better than new now.
I absolutely love the idea of extending the life of a bag that has been enjoyed and well used. But you go beyond and restore the bag’s beauty and make it better than new! So now the owner can continue to use their “new” beloved bag!
She’s going to be very happy!
Watching you work very relaxing, I like how you talk while you're working. It shows me you have control of the project and you're confident enough to share your thoughts on the subject.
Fantastic work!
You are one Talented man Sir. Your work is phenomenal.
Looks incredible! Great Job 👍 👍👍!
An excellent refurb refresh and renew of this bag Steve years of life put back into it another happy customer for sure 👍 it’s a shame I don’t live closer to your shop I need a job I sweep up well and make great coffee ☕️ lol
That's a badass bag!! You did a phenomenal job Steve! I cant wait to be taking on jobs like this!!
I was hoping you’d sharpen the “disposable blade” as soon as you started. I like the fact you don’t waste things. As for the bag beautiful job on bringing it back to life.
It was a special day, aNEW blade day.🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@BedosLeatherworksLLC I purchased a specialty jeweler's vise to hold my 'disposable' blades. Then I just strop them. Honing as opposed to sharpening. I think I still have my original #2 blade in my handle for cutting leather. Just some compound on my leather strop and do a few passes. Why not prolong the use of a blade if you can?
Sharpening and sanitising blade 😂 😂 😂
OLD LEATHER SMITH here, very nice Steve, I just did 1 similar, I clean and soften first, easier 4 me 2 work on. I have found a way 2 turn the moccasins I make right side out, I rounded the end of a closet rod on 1 end, by placing the other end at the floor against a wall it turns very easy and works with everything else. The only other different things I do is hand sew, repair and do custom, bespoke only, NOTHING 4 SALE. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
Awesome Job. 😎😎
Another great job.👍🏼
I wish I had your talent. You ARE an artist!
I love your channel Steve!. It's so relaxing and educational. Thank you for sharing your background with your Dad and Brother. Keep up the great work!! You should have a million subs
I can't believe! Good job!
Gorgeous job! You really brought this bag back to life! 😍
Super-Lux! Very, very, very beautiful! Thank you very much! 👍
Wow that was brilliant Steve.
Highlighting all your skills.
Your customer should be delighted with that restoration, what a marvellous gift you have young man
Stay safe 😷🇬🇧
honestly your rehab work is better than some of the new from the factory pieces these days. Another great job!!!!
Hello Steve another job well done,Let's continue,👍
You are very multitasking Bevo ( Steve) another great project!
Well done mate. 👏 as usual you've done a brilliant job. 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘
You are amazing!!
Just watched the video again....the bag, I think is better than it was originally, the piping, lining and straps all stand out. Class repair, Steve.
Thanks for sharing Steve. I love the thicker canvas on these older bags- my few LV bags are all about 15-20 yrs old and the quality is so much better than today’s offerings. I use Bickmore 4 on my canvas as well as my leather, keeps it supple and shiny .
Sewing that piping is one of the most satisfying things ever. Then, watching you trim it freehand game me anxiety. There's no way. Awesome!
Good job 👌
Fantastic job, that lining looks clean, nice job on handles too
that looks cool.. excellent restoration.👍
Oh how I loved the sound of you popping through those stitches! That bag was lucky. You are amazing!
Beautiful restoration of that bag Steve.......I'm sure she was thrilled!
Master Craftsman.Very well done !

Do you thin out your dye for airbrush if so what do you use or can you use thanks again
Treasure of the Sierra Madre was the original quote. And was used in blazing saddles. 😉
Badges we dont need no stinkin' badges Vamanos! (Blazing Saddles) great film.
Nice job. You sure do make it look easy. 👍👍
Pretty deadly! I appreciate the life story. Love hearing how people got started.
Leather workers are the same as any skilled laborers, after they have enough experience to actually be good at their job they start to think why are they working for someone else & want to try to do it on their own. Skilled laborers are also always in demand so they figure they can always get a good paying job if something fails. As someone who is a certified welder, certified mechanic and someone who has also built every aspect of a house, if the economy is doing ok I can find a decent paying job almost anywhere so there is no reason to stay at a job I don't like. That is most likely the reason steve is having problems keeping employees. His best chance would be to hire an apprentice and teach him how to do what he needs him to do. Pay the apprentice a decent wage so he won't quit to go work for Walmart or something. Far too few places are willing to actually train employees nowadays and that is a major reason why so many skilled laborer positions are going unfilled for sometimes years. If you can't find someone with 5+ years experience then train them so they will have that & more with your company.
So true. That's why hand artisans such as lace makers etc are paid great wages and are cared for so all they have to worry about is their craft.
I literally watch your videos every day. Nice and creative content. Keep it up..
Woaahhh at 01:15 you already noticed how she might want longer straps, you’re always so sweet!
Well done! Beautiful bag.
