Nice video - again! Just did my 2016 G.Picasso. Takes slightly different oil - due to the stop start. I got Mobile Super 3000 Formulae P. Expensive stuff! Used a Pela Vacuum pump. Managed to get almost all the oil out bar 100ml. Whole process was 20 mins but the filter was a b#tch to get back in!

very useful thanks, I love these DS3 and have driven a few of them, although my C3 has a better stereo than my friend's DS3s, not sure why as they are a cheaper car. The C3 has been amazing and is often under serviced, jump in and go anywhere 60mpg on the motorway. Air and pollen filters are easy too.

Any ideas or maybe a video on a Peugeot 107 air con not working. Light on switch but no cold air and hissing when turned on. Did book a re gas but thought it may be a leak but don’t know.

Looks identical filter to mk3 focus 1.6 diesel I've done my oil filter the same way putting it in casing but wondering if it would be easier to push into engine ,then screw casing onto it so you can feel the lug locate

I find it hard to push the lid on the filter once it’s in the engine, it’s easier to do it before, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

I do it the same way..first filter into the engine for 100% feel that it's entered where it supposed to..and the push and turn the plastic casing..can be hard if you're doing it for the first time..👍

Did the exact same thing on a Citroen Dispatch last week, those oil filters are awkward. Not sure I would have put PTFE tape on the sump plug though, better to replace it surely?

The oil filter housing is 27mm not 28mm

Using PTFE is pointless and could potentially cause more damage if someone gets carried away and some of it ends up in the sump.
It's the washer that does the sealing not the threads. Just make sure you have a new decent quality washer, surfaces are clean and torque it up properly.
