What’s terrifying to me is Eminem is VERY blatant about being used by Satan and becoming possessed, and people don’t see it. Just talking about his rap skills.
Biggest takeaway should be is that he prayed to God, not the devil.

The voice that em is talking to is his inner demons and his inner demon is trying to make him go back to being the old em(slim shady) and being shady have almost killed him. With shady comes the addiction and the strugle with addiction and em having going through rehab and that endless cycle. So if he brings back Shady he’s also bringing back that addictive side and that downwards spiral that almost destroyd him clearly and it is like selling your soul, Because he can’t deal with the consequences of that. The fans want Shady and he knows that it will put him on top of success and there come’s down side with that, Because with shady comes deppression addiction and darknes that he embraces to make that Shady character.
So the whole song is about em having identity crisis and his identity talking to him, so its like Eminem vs Slim Shady vs Marshall Mathers.
Fun fact: when he said « In the shadows of all who are willing to sell their souls for this rap game, and it g-g-goes, 123 check-check, 123 check-check, 123 check-check» 1+2+3= 6, so his hinting to 666 the mark of the beats.
