The Pepperoni Roll originated in Fairmont WV. The father was working In the coal mines and he would take a stick of pepperoni and a loaf of bread to work with him for his lunch. Well his wife came up with an idea to roll the sliced sticks of pepperoni into the dough and bake them. Boom Pepperoni Rolls!! That same family opened up County Club Bakery in Fairmont WV. and is still open 6 days a week to this day!! Still my favorite pepperoni rolls fresh out of the oven.

A few weeks ago I rented a farm near Franklin WV to do a video about the Civil War in that area. The farm was deep in 150 acres. A few days in we started to hear some noises in the surrounding forest that I have never heard in PA. Maybe a wolf, but I never heard a wolf sound like that in PA. The sounds are at the end of my "Running from Stonewall" video if you want to hear it.

When I was younger, my buddies and I would make a yearly Spring trek to Monongalia Co (and adjacent counties like Marion). That entire area is so beautiful and wild, it's surreal. Blackwater Falls, Cranberry Glades, Dolly Sods, Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks, on and on the list of amazing places goes. Oh, Cathedral St. Forest with the tallest tree (a hemlock) in the state.
There's no doubt in my mind that these beings are here. I forget what % of our state is forested, but it's A LOT and that's not even mentioning the cave systems (known and unknown). I've had some extremely strange experiences around the Adena mounds throughout my area. High strangeness indeed.

They do a great job! And they don’t focus on Sasquatch either. It’s just a bonus. I get lost in the visuals just being one with the forest. I could never do what they do. I’d get lost end up way far from the camp and probably fall off a cliff and die. Or die from shock from something that wasn’t there. My imagination is my down fall. It would get the best of me. People don’t understand it looks sooo different at night. It’s very scary even if there is nothing to it.

It was exactly like the the ohio howl.. complete with the all the local dogs responding. I also heard one whoop coming from the mountian across the street as I was walking from my car one night. Another time, I heard mumbling gibberish coming from the drop off,in the creek next to my house. It sounded kind of high pitched like what is thought to be a female in the cierra sounds recordings. Most of my family is from West Virginia and western Virginia area and I had heard stories of Boogers and Wild Woman of the Woods. On my first visit to my Uncle Howard's place over around Renick, W.Va. I had to go to the bathroom one night and went out to the outhouse which is what they had at the time. My uncle had told us that we are tell him if we had to go at night but being a small kid I forgot to let him know but I guess they had heard the screen door slam when I went out. Anyway I was in the out house and something hit the top of the outhouse which scared me big time. When it hit the top a second time I screamed and it screamed and that is when my uncle and Dad came out with a shotgun and fired it in the air. Iheard whatever it was start to run off behind me I run towards the house. My Dad and uncle smiled and laught at me and said I meet a booger, which at the time I didn't know what they meant. I was about 6 or 7 years old and I am 67 now and I have never forgotten that. Thanks for your videos guys.

My backyard...I know this area well. Fifty years of hunting, fishing, and outdoorsmanship. Nothing seen or heard thus far, Bigfoot-wise anyway. Rock piles like that are pretty common. At one point (mid-19th to the early 20th century), almost the entire state was clear cut by the logging industry. Rock piles and walls still stand that were used as property markers and/or for clearing pastures for farming and/or livestock. There's little "old-growth" forest left. But, Organ Cave just outside of Caldwell WV is a fun one to visit. It was used to house black powder and other munitions during the Civil War, and changed hands between Union and Confederate troops several times. There's still evidence of what it was used for in there (at least there was the last time I was there). There's some albino freshwater shrimp and eye-less albino catfish that inhabit the stream inside of it that have evolved over the eons in perpetual darkness there as well. It's a fun thing to explore if one is ever in that part of the state around the Lewisburg/White Sulfur Springs area. The Greenbrier Hotel that sits on top of and houses the US Government's Nuclear fallout shelter, and the Green Bank Radio Space Observatory are a short drive away too. But I gotta say fellas, noise discipline, noise discipline...as loud as you guys are most everything within a mile of ya is long gone.

yup, it'd surprise most just how far noise will travel in the woods and on the water. If one has to communicate, whispering and/or hand signals are preferred. If ya gotta move, go slowly, and step toe to heel instead of heel to toe as we normally do (I know that I'm probably "preaching to the choir" here, but I have experienced the need to hunt if I wanted to eat, and noise discipline played a huge part in being successful). Apologies for the ratchet-jawing...

Regarding the pick up on the thermal ...I slowed the footage down to 1/4 and I'm pretty sure I see front and back legs (side view) and the head move just a millisecond time stamp 40:40 before your cut away . Bear and maybe a cub off to the side. It's a good thing you guys weren't closer to them. It might have gotten dicey. Great stuff guys

Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum aka Dr. Plaster Caster. Ol Doc Meldrum he's got to get past the plaster footprints bullshit. Him sitting at a conference table covered with plaster something or another, that trick is out of the 1960's bargain bin. The plaster homecooked footprints are childish (very) and haven't worked since the early 70's.

Those subterranean caves are interesting, but not for me. (Especially after watching a movie called “Ascent”. I do enjoy you brave guys traipsing in there.
