I have lived in Maine my entire life. Born in Millinocket, live close to Mount Katahdin up north, and work in Lincoln. Bigfoot absolutely lives here. Much love from Maine.
I had a sighting on the eastern shore of Chesuncook Lake back in 2015, changed my life. I came away from the sighting with a sense of calm. I obviously had a hard time believing what I saw, but it was undeniable. At about forty yards, It was crouching over at the waters edge , looking like a stump. Looked up at me, stood up and slowly walked into the woods. I,to this day, am struggling with this. I love adventuring in Maine, I just have now accepted the fact that we don’t know everything, Cheers
Would you be interested in hiking into a couple of lakes with me? I need an adventure buddy, most people I know want to sit on the couch. Reply if interested!
Damn that's interesting & very similar to my experience but mine was in Florida in the swamps. Easter Sunday 2016 just went through divorce & had no easter plans so I tried to access a hidden lake I found on Google maps to do some bass fishing deep in the woods. I reached a dead end filled with short over grown palms & lots of thorny vines in the trail & tried to quietly go under some vines when I stepped on a fallen dead palm frond & the Crack sound echoed & somebo😊dy took off running away from me. I couldn't see so I kneeled down low almost on all fours & see two brown/reddish hairy legs running about 15 yards away & lost sight of it after about 5 or 6 steps but could clearly hear its steps as it wasn't running directly away more at an angle away from me. Then I heard a huge splish splash splash etc. It had reached the lake & started running through the lake & almost sounded like it dove in or something. I hung around for all of about 30 seconds frozen in time before deciding I didn't want to fish that day lol & still can't say what it was but it effected me in a way that I'm still trying to wrap my head around. Never reported it or told anyone other than a few close friends either
@@MrMd5555 Interesting for sure !
That must have Ben on the back road , from Greenville , through Baxter State Park , to Patten. A 4 wheel most scenic journey. I see itz listed az a " Private Road " .
@@robertlesliebryant3414 My sighting was on a week long canoe camping trip. It was on the edge of Chesuncook Lake.
Eyeballed on on county rd rt 9 east of Bangor in the winter of 92 on my way to New Brunswick. 3 am 35 degrees below zero. Almost hit it with my 18 wheeler. I can remember that just like it happened yesterday.
I’m a Bigfoot fan since 1972 when that movie came out . I got a book by L.Coleman ,now I am into the missing 411 cases by David Paulides. Thanks for this..
Story of the Durham gorilla is fascinating because my Grandfather, who was a registered Maine Guide for 53 years use to tell a story of seeing a giant Gorilla while hunting in remote eastern Washington County. He said he thought it was the biggest bear he ever saw, until it ran off on two legs like a person would. Described as 7 to 8 feet tall.
Not angry, I'm pleased to see a video without all this "questionable" staged near encounters. No yelling, no bravado - just solid documentary work with lots and lots of stunning nature.
I can see why a bigfoot would feel at home in a place like this and why he can blend in with the environment so snugly.
How could anyone be even remotely angered by this incredible footage of beauty in Maine. When I imagined Maine, a state I have always wanted to see, I envisioned the coast. I never knew that Maine had such remote wilderness that is incredibly beautiful! Now, I want to go even more!
It has everything. North east USA in the sticks/oceans is one of a kind. It's called vacationland for a reason! I hope you go if you haven't by now!
Best state in the country
Not at all angry about a lack of findings from your trip, it was cool visiting Maine and hearing all the accounts. Beautiful place, thanks guys.
Glad he advised "no screaming". I think call blasting and screaming is silly.... and obnoxious.
Agreed. Has it even ever worked?
Perhaps

Great show! I’ve lived in the western foothills of Maine for over 50 years. I thought you did a great job. Never had an encounter myself but had a few uncomfortable moments that made me wonder. I appreciate your respect of our beautiful state.
Could you please elaborate on the “uncomfortable moments,” thanks!
@@austintrousdale2397 Sure, I go into the woods alone most times. I have a hunting stand about 15 ft up in a new growth area in western Maine. I am a bird watcher and many times I sit with my eyes closed to try and identify birds by song/call. A few times everything went really quiet and the feeling that I was not alone came over me to the point where I was expecting to see a black bear or coyote pack. Although I never saw or heard anything, I left the area.
I did not think I had but after hearing hundreds of people’s testimony on Bigfoot case files and how to hunt channel (both CZcams). I realized I had had an encounter where I heard their chatter and their circling behavior. They tend to circle you if your still or parallel you if moving. They will chatter with each other if in pairs or groups. 20 years ago wilderness camping I heard the chatter and was circled for two hours at least. It sounded like a group of drunk men hollering and talking. For years I thought that’s what happened even though it would be very odd behavior for a human. For a Bigfoot it’s normal behavior.
Cameras are useless and a weird suggestion for an expert to make. Well known that Bigfoot can sense gadgets and even a human can see infrared source lights. Big foot case files on CZcams has thousands of first hand testimony from North America. How to hunt is another good channel.
I've hunted in Northern Maine several times and it is very vast and wild as any other State. There can be things living there that no one would ever see.
Absolutely, but an unknown hominid species is not very likely to be one of those
@@doh4828 hominid??🤔🤔

I live in Maine. We own a cabin on a small island on Lake Moxie. Late at night in the summer time it can get eerily quite. So quiet it's almost deafening. It's not uncommon to wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of a loon or owl. But over the years I've woken to other sounds. Strange sounds. Eerie howling and moaning. And wood knocking could often be heard with it. It would always happen late at night between the hours of 12 and 3 a.m. It's a very unnerving and creepy thing to hear late at night! Especially when you're way out there by yourself and there's no electricity. It will often times be pitch black inside the cabin and outside. Experiencing something like that telling yourself it's not a person much less a known animal of any kind makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up!
From this Mainer, Thank you for the positive words and respect for the beauty here. It was amusing to hear an outsiders view who thought the East Coast was all suburban, incomparable the wilderness of the west. Thanks for your great work.✌
I was one of those until I flew into Providence in the Navy. Beautiful area and nice people too! Cheers from Western Washington
As an Anthropologist I have found your show and find it not only entertaining but informative sirs. Good job. I have always had an interest in Bigfoot so kudos to you for bringing forth a good show 👏.
I hiked Mt. Katahdin about 20 years ago when I was on a camping trip up in Maine and New Hampshire. Beautiful area!
A few friends and I hiked Mt Katahdin 3 years ago. We went up to Baxter peak via Cathedral. It was around this time of year maybe a couple days maybe a week or so before hand. The view the base of cathedral all the way up to Baxter peak is absolutely stunning! Everyday since then i miss being there. I hope to make it up there again soon.
I grew up in Portage Lake Maine. In the Northern tip of Maine it is raw wilderness and lots of room for animals to roam.
Excellent documentary! Great to see you guys getting out there and doing it! The bigfoot world needs more of this! Keep up the great work! Look forward to the next one!
Had 2 friends in the sixties that say they saw 1 close up. They called the cops and were definitely scared. There were a lot of strange things happening in those days. Our German shepards would sit in the field and bark towards the woods, but never go in.
With an area that size , your chances of encountering a Sasquatch are very small . Never feel bad about posting such an entertaining film, detailing your research . Much appreciated and keep up the search
Yup-! In fact, it seems with all of the 'CSI' type TV Shows around the world, people are -- as I am too, fascinated with the 'process' of doing things ...
That said -- these guys came well prepared technically with the exception of some mentally stimulating lures for the Curious Sasquatches out there. Just a baby bawling, a wood knock here and there and a Country Song wasn't that enticing, me thinks.
In the future, I'd bring things that will make these creatures to WANT to investigate. That and the unlimited choices foods and treats for the Bigfoot to snack on.
The late, great Mitchell Waite (of the Mogollon Monsters of Arizona) used to put out goodies like Oreo's and candy. And them sweet toothed Sasquatches went for it.
In any event, what these guys did and do to propel Bigfoot Truth makes a difference and most certainly, it matters.
Keep at it, Comrades-!

This is my favorite from you guys so far! It's a breath of fresh air to see a documentary based on Sasquatch in a new area or an area that is seldomly visited in documentaries. I am from Delaware, on the East coast and most people know about Maine and the Wildman correlation but very rarely is it visited for such research due to the amount of time and the difficulties with travel in the direction, in order to get to Maine...
I grew up in Maine and we just never really talked about it , didn’t want to bother them, if they don’t bother us we didn’t bother them. My parents just told us to get out of the woods before sundown so the Ragman doesn’t get you. Their long hair on their arms makes it look like a huge guy wearing rags when you can see their silhouette.
Can you guys come to our woods in Springfield Maine to find Bigfoot? I have a picture of it on our land and we hear it all the time
I just hooked up with your channel pretty recently, and I'm so very glad I did! I've watched several Bigfoot documentaries so far, and I'm impressed with how they're presented, with all of the interviews, and of all the wonderful footage of the wild places several of you have gone trekking and camping in, as well as background information about all of those places. To me, these documentaries are interesting and intriguing as all get-out. Learning about all of those beautiful places and towns is a wonderful bonus. Love it!
Wow, I grew up in upstate NY and I didn't know how remote and vast Maine is. All you hear about are the coastal tourist hot spots. Great film and effort gentlemen. Keep it up.
This was another excellent addition to Small Town Monsters. Really thank you, each upload is a treat and super educational.
So good to see and hear from Loren Coleman!
Thanks Every one 🦧 Appreciate your continued efforts and content. Maine and her people are beautiful. 🌳🪵🍃 Keep it up. 💚
I really enjoyed this show. It’s the most I’ve ever heard about Bigfoot in Maine. The only thing I would have changed is the amount of time spent following an unproductive search. I’ve watched many Bigfoot videos on CZcams over the years, and I can see how hard it is to actually try to find one by just heading out to a likely area. I have found that many people think Bigfoot know what cameras are and will avoid an area that contains them, even if hidden. Also, tree knocks are a warning so they may come close to see what the trouble is, but stay hidden. The baby cry from the water I’ve never seen before. The blueberries in a wet spot and the tobacco seem like they were worth trying. I’m no expert, just very interested. There are so many sightings, I know these creatures must exist. I appreciated seeing another area to explore
You are on the right path about them
In 2011, I owned a Registered Maine Guide Service (Hunting/Fishing/Recreation). I had a very convincing Sasquatch encounter Northeast of Moxie Pond, while guiding bear hunters. Yes, Bigfoot is in Maine.
I grew up going there almost every summer…a handful of yrs ago I came up to help my friend move her horses to her sisters farm in Massachusetts…she was having extremely aggressive encounters…hence, her moving the horses…started with taking of her horse feed…(she called it sweet feed?)…she locked it up in a marine box…it was then literally ripped apart…also horse’s alerting her…they were terrified…to the point she couldn’t calm them…her encounters were very similar to others I’ve heard about…she had it in a water tight barrel and the first night she bought the barrel…it was gone the next morning…just gone…no way someone could pick it up and walk away…certainly not a bear…literally gone…so, you are absolutely right…they are there….the final straw for her was an attack on one of the horses not 3 but 4 deep scratches on the rump of the horse…I’ve read about 3 scratches happening…not 4 deep on one side and 2 on the other…
@@saraparisi4676 Carrying off the barrel, vs chewing it and damaging, is where theft by something with hands becomes evident. A bear would chew the heck out of the rim of the barrel to get at what is inside. Admittedly, plastic 55 gallon barrels are a hot commodity in rural New England - so human theft is possible... seems like your sister certainly has something paranormal going on, though. My experience was at under a hundred yards, and it was undeniably a bigfoot. It stood there at the edge of the wood line, and did the most perfect "Ohio Howl" at me... I'm fairly certain it was directed at me, unless he didn't see me. As a Master Maine Guide, lifetime hunter, and former infantry scout-observer - I can absolutely state it was a sasquatch, and nothing that was supposed to be in the woods according to "experts ". For a few reasons, I stopped guiding, and now have a quiet job on a university campus. I'm much more careful in the woods, and always go armed. Back to your sister's encounter - another Master Maine Guide, and my neighbor at the time, saw what he described as a "Werewolf" while he was deer hunting. I think Maine has a few cryptids in those dark forests... he was very shaken while telling me. Thanks for your sister's story!
@@yankeewargamer3098 sasquatch and dogman are out there. Both are ok if you give them space and respect.
@@yankeewargamer3098 Wow,you should consider writing about your experiences and stories from other Guides. That werewolf sighting reminds me of the family in Palmyra that was terrorized by what they saw were werewolves. They made an episode of "Paranormal Witness " about it. I live in Maine ,love the wilderness but I'm always on the lookout. It's so dense and vast,I can only imagine...
@@saraparisi4676 just curious what part of Maine was your sister? Central, southern, northern, downeast?
These videos are calming, informative, cinematic and overall has a sense of balance in all areas (dialogue, music, nature sounds). Love these videos.

Beautiful and well put video! Didn’t know how dense the state of Maine is. But yup but found nothing just like others before them.
Great job fellas. I enjoyed your film. All research is necessary. Keep on with your passion. Thinking "outside the box" is one way we evolve, and come to understand. Be safe out there.
Great video !!! Keep them coming.
I also love the way u all put your content together ❤
Great video! Thanks a whole bunch everyone!
Bigfoot, sasquatch, other woodland things and investigation are what brought me here and i subscribed to view, honestly.
Alex, I just watched this video again a second time. As usual, great job.
It's unfortunate that people who view these types of videos always expect to hear or see something, but realistically it's really a rarity for anything to happen.
As most of the quality researchers like Yourself, your friends and few others on here, You all take a holistic type of view point and are patient with Your approach.
To many times most of the other researchers freak it seems like every time they hear a twig snap.
Bigfoot is an elusive creature it seems unless provoked possibly by trespassing or protecting its family.
When will be coming to Maine again? I've posted before on here.
Have had some creepy howling every so often in my neck of the woods as of late.
Keep up the great work.
Where do you live Scott? I'm downeast and have heard many howl/roars/screams. I describe them that way because they are all three rolled into one.
As others have said, I’m not angry either at the lack of evidence produced in this film. One of the things that I appreciate about the STM films is the cinematography and getting to see areas of the world that I have not yet visited. Thanks for sharing, STM!
Found you guys on CZcams love watching unbelievable I’m hooked on this channel
Really begining to love this channel, thanks for posting 😊
Very good documentary! I hope you continue with more adventures and findings. Squatch is still out there to be discovered!🤗
Nothing better than a little Stompin Tom Connor’s on the expedition boys, awesome footage, keep up the great work. Cheers!
Pine Ape is pretty catchy.
Beautifully done gents ! Thank you .
Excellent work. I really enjoyed the film!
I've lived in Maine all my life but have never seen, smelled or heard anything I thought was a Sasquatch,
but I'm glad they are still here. Seemed like they all left.
I thought this was very well done and I’ve never seen Maine like you guys showed the wilds of the beautiful state.
Echoing others, incredible effort you guys put in. Threw everything including the kitchen sink at attempting to capture solid evidence. Have you guys put up the camp surveillance in the NW? Would love to see that. Absolutely love the drone footage. Beautiful scenery! Don’t take this the wrong way, but I don’t sleep well and the calm and peaceful footage helps me go back to sleep. Don’t worry, I always go back and eventually finish watching the entire episodes. Keep up the great work!
Phenomenal work! Great editing, great idea with the CCTV. Dude knocked it out of the park with name "Pine Ape." Keep up the good stuff. I hope Maine stays squatchy for decades to come
Thanks for your effort everyone, great video.
Great presentation of the subject matter.
Very well put together series
enjoyed the video guys.. way to put yourself out there and search.....Blessed
Great researchers, and videos!
The "widigo " is not a sasquatch!!😂 that's a sprit.
According to a lot of Native American lore it is a cannibal spirit that can inhabit the human body.
I love you're documentaries, so interesting I just wish the squatch would come around to investigate you guys !
Great show. Thank you for sharing this with us. Yes, there not a lot that's easy about untouched Maine forest. When we use to pick berries, we would talk to each other and some would sing and some just carried *bear bells* (that undergrowth is wicked thick).
Question: Do you think that Roger beep should be turned off on your 2 way radios.? You can still use the call button feature if needed (because someone's volume was too low).
Pretty cool video ….thanks guys
I was hammered last time I saw this.....got to watch again... Now!!!!
great film guys.... I research the SE Adirondack region and it's quite vast and remote.
I would be reluctant to use infrared, because a lot of people feel that the Sasquatch can detect the infrared that's why they escape the cameras so much.
I agree. In fact, Scott Carpenter recommends using cameras watching cameras as a fence to keep these beings out. Not all of these want to play marbles with people. These creatures are a diverse species, and people need to recognize them as co-habitation of our entire planet.
You never can tell, look at bats and dolphins with sonar. Look at migratory birds, where they can travel so far and go exactly where they want, where humans for the most, always need a map, and/or other tools.
Some people have better abilities in themselves, but they're very few.
I think they can detect all of our technology but we can’t sneak up on one of them regardless of what gear we take, however there is some compelling video and photographic evidence not to mention the auditory evidence. The Patterson film is an anomaly. Maybe they disguised their approach accidentally being on horseback. Sasquatch would certainly know what a horse sounds like and know it’s not a threat. At some point they figured out that we had a way to capture their image & got the word out ( maybe they have a newsletter or something) they adjusted their behaviors and became very hard to film. I think for the most part most encounters are 100 percent on their terms. You have to try to get footage right?
True. If they can see at night as they do travel and hunt after dark I’m confident that they do see the infrared lights. Even deer can see it. When you see game cam clips the deer are almost always startled by they lights.
@@khworker1322 LOL newsletter!! That made me laugh out loud

You don't have to go to the middle of nowhere to look.
Back in July 2015, I saw a sasquatch in clear view in Weston, Massachusetts... Standing next to a abandoned railroad track in the Weston Town Forest. This sighting took place just 12 miles west of Fenway Park.
They live among us.😳
My brother has been a a logger for over 35 years and has stayed at the Telos (spoken Tee-loss) camps. He has walked many miles in the woods and has driven thousands of miles in the woods and has never seen any signs of a Sasquatch. If they do exist in Maine they are dam good at hiding!
Cool to see Maine and Maineiacs! Lol. Plus, familiar faces. I've been into Bigfoot since I was a kid. My first sighting was in Canyon City Oregon next to where I live now in John Day. Since then, I've had seen 2 more and seen and heard them or seen tracks, wood knocks, and tree snaps, rocks thrown, and once a boulder. Between Oregon and Idaho. In Maine, I was paralleled back in February 1990, approximately 2:30 a m. ,taking a short cut on the railroad tracks between the Monroe Rd and the Back Winterport Rd in Winterport Maine. It was off to my right in the tree's on the hill. To my left was wetlands. About 3-4 feet of snow. My coworker seen a boulder fly from the brush out fishing with her then police officer husband. She said it splashed in the river 50 feet away. Nearest town was Washburn Maine. Michael Merchant aka. Snow Walker Prime, has some great recordings and videos about Bigfoot. I'm familiar with Chris Julian. He's done a lot of cool stuff in Maine. Ghost, Bigfoot, and paranormal. Wicked Good guy! Loren Coleman's, International Cryptozoology Museum is a must see place! The North Maine Woods is a great area. Thank you all of you for your hard work and producing this documentary. 🦍👣
Good video guys. You should go up to Mt. St. Helens /Cougar WA /Eagle Cliff. It's a hotspot too
Have had experiences in that area myself, my cousin owns a cabin in Cougar and have had them with in 200 yds....Night howls...Usually in the driest of years they come down to Yale....
I really liked what Aleks said just to the end of the video about people being angry about not having any evidence on the video but that the video showed the magnificent scenery to be seen in the north east.

Great documentary well done guys
Great job and beautiful film. Sasquatch’s more clever than all the researchers put together. Thank God for them.
These guys do such good work! For such a small company, with such a small budget, I'd say the only difference between a STM video and something major like Monster Quest is no special effects and not as much high tech equipment. And I learned so much about Maine! I never knew how vast it is!
Great video watching from France. :)

Just bought Michelle’s book. I enjoyed it very much. Good job! And if they are pretty much “everywhere”, and I believe they are, it only shows how extremely out of touch we are, with an immense part of our World. And how is it we have managed to largely ignore Native American stories and advice on Biggie?
