I love these films! I’m a life long resident of the mountains in Chestnut Ridge and only 15 minutes awhile from kecksburg. Everyone seems to have a weird story of something where I live including myself but keep doing what your doing Small Town!

This is about the best show I have seen on the subject. While I'm not big into aliens, UFOs etc. I can appreciate a straight forward retelling of the events without a lot of sensationalism.
Nothing sensationalistic about UFO's/aliens. Interactions with aliens are much more common than interactions with bigfoot, although Bigfoot may very well be an alien
This is a great doc. I live in this area and have even met some of the people interviewed. I've seen some things and my grandparents lived in an area with multiple bigfoot sightings.

I've seen Bigfoot several times and still see them ever so often. I don't know their motives, but they are watchers. They watch us all the time. Especially around kids. I live by a park and it's just outside of the city, and they watch the kids playing in the park. That's how I catch them, watching. It's kind of spooky when you think about it. This was so interesting and scared the you know what outta me 😅. This is one of the best BF-UFO docs I've ever seen.

A well made show as usual. The thumbnail is even cool. Going by other comments, this was originally made in 2017, pre covid. Which I bring up because I'd heard in a podcast from about 2 yrs ago that when well, people were scarce, that cryptids were being seen more frequently or there were new ones not seen before being reported. Though I gotta wonder if people staying inside doesn't have anything to do with that and they're simply showing up or there's another cause of it.

Please forgive me if I am misunderstanding. This came out in 2017, yet this is the premiere? I think I watched it before. BTW, I am a fan of STM. I have really enjoyed how Seth and his crew go about making documentaries over the years. Hope they keep the “small” in Small Town Monsters. 😉

It is not a premier. You had to pay to see this, before now. This was just uploaded to CZcams by the owners, to watch for free, for the first time. Another channel uploaded it, but that was copyright infringement, so if you seen this for free, before now, you stole it.

I work for one of the major class 1 rail roads and have worked at the old union town depot.
I grew up roughly 12 miles from Kecksburg. My parents were driving home from a date night in Greensburg and got turned around by Army personnel on their way home that night.
Excellent work on this documentary! It almost sounds like a "portal" opened in that particular area and let loose some wicked creatures. None of the experiences were positive and/or beneficial, but rather chilling...
Something me and many other people I know now is the LAST thing we would do is go and report things we see (like strange sightings) to "officials" when they LIE right to peoples faces all the time now...

I'm missing these types of stories lately. The bigfoot stuff is EVERYWHERE and the Mothman is totally mainstream at this point. A documentary on the whitetail deer is more rare than this stuff is these days. But Flatwoods and Kecksburg are legit.

Ya know the Kecksburg craft always reminded me of Die Glocke. They looked almost identical. I often wondered if we got it after WW2 and worked on it to fly the guys back from the moon as the race was on then. The German scientists were here working. Maybe something went wrong in flight. ?

I tend to think the Sasquatch were alarmed by the red light and were coming out to either see it better or get away from it. I don't think they had anything to do with the lights in the sky but were reacting to it the same way humans did, with curiosity, awe and probably fear. Jmo
Before the Islamic terrorists took over the Middle East they were folklore about several creatures that includes the ROC it's a huge bird that terrorize to the ship's of the area legend say's it could pick up a entire ship and not even strain and it picked up sailor's off the ship without a bother, that has scared me the most of the pre Islamic folklore that I had heard.

there are many caves around here, chestnut ridge, the Mellon's used to own alot of it now it's the army corps of engineers it's all private no hunting or hiking allowed, many say there is treasure

Is documentary was so interesting to me because I've never heard of these kind of cryptids and I never heard of these stories. And I live in pennsylvania. Nothing happens in Pennsylvania so there's maybe a handful of stories of heard about bigfoots and aliens over Pennsylvania but nothing like Thunderbirds and all that other stuff. Very interesting

I'm still waiting on the Small Town Monsters Stan Gordon Documentary. Bio doc. Just tell us about this man's life and the stories he's encountered.
One BF shorter than the other, Baby like scream, underground sounds..... WHY?? Why do these things have the ability to adapt to our dimensional reality in forms that we recognize and do things that humans recognize as human like traits and dimensional interactions within our frames of reference. Does anyone know what am I asking here on a deeper level than just sight? What if it turns dimensions inside and out as well as upside down. What are we really dealing with on a level beyond human understanding in a vocabulary that we currently don't possess or a science beyond our grasp. There is a "matrix" here far beyond human comprehension, and couple this with the fact that these things are begging to be seen and noticed and they crave the attention. Nothing this advanced runs out in front of a car and disappears in a ball of light by accident. Something far more complicated than glowing eyed apes and lights in the sky. Honestly with our current state in the evolutionary timeline I believe that we will never be advanced enough to define and isolate these things. True messengers of deception. I'm also still on the fence about Kecksburg. No doubt there was an event, but could this have been nothing more than a Russian probe or something similar.
