Good to know! So before a show starts it would be good to keep it on resume in case it loses power. Maybe after the show is over switch it back to refresh for the next operator on the next gig.
It’s a subjective answer and based on your production setup. Most of the time I start with refresh on and then if we plan on powering down I flip on resume before booting down.
When powered off, or it loses power- in refresh state the rio boots back up with all of its settings in their default values. In resume , all of those settings are saved. Resume will save your show
Excellent insight - thank you.
Refresh is a GIG KILLER
agreed!
I thought HA information was stored in scenes. Last rehearsal some shitstain had flipped this switch...I dont quite understand why you cant recall the info in your showfile though. Even if the rio does refresh and all is gone, why dont HA settings recall if you recall the scene again. There should be a failsafe somewhere.
isn't there an option where you can choose "HA from console" / "HA from dante" ?
@@TinoSchulz1990 did not realise😀 will check as soon as i can!
I've only worked on a CL5 and QL1 a couple of times. Just found it inside the editor. Not quite sure if that's what i think it is.
Windows > Input Patch > "HA INFO" [Take from Port] [Take from Channel]@@Kolioruth
Manual says:
(1) TAKE FROM PORT button
The HA settings of the port will take priority. Even if you change the patching, the HA settings of
the port will remain unchanged.
(2) TAKE FROM CHANNEL button
The HA settings of the channel will take priority. The HA settings of the port that had been
previously patched will be copied to the newly-patched port.
