Assassin's Creed 3 holds a special place in my heart. I had started the series with 2 and it was my favorite game at the time, and when Brotherhood came out I was so excited for all the new features like recruiting assassins and a single huge map and riding horses inside cities and a crossbow and new combat and all kinds of improvements on top of AC2. Then, when Revelations came out, it was the first time I started to notice the downfall and fatigue of the series. Although I didn't see it then as much as now, I still wasn't excited one bit for Revelations, and I ended up skipping it. It was too similar to Brotherhood, and even had features taken out like horse riding. Not to mention, this was the fourth game with the same running and climbing animations and character models. It started to get a little boring.
But then AC3 came out and injected a whole new energy into the series. I remember seeing early gameplay demos and being amazed at how different and new it looked. New running and climbing animations, climbing trees and cliffsides, weather effects like rain and snow, bow and arrow and hunting, rope darts, using enemies as human shields, new combat, new setting, new characters.
It was so exciting and fresh. Despite some of the game's flaws like a boring protagonist and overall boring plot, and slowest horse ever, I still really love this game.
Exploring the frontier especially was breathtaking. Stumbling upon and panther den or a bears or ambushing enemies from the trees and infiltrating forts and all kinds of cool stuff.

Your comment started off so good but then you completely ruined yourself. You just admitted and proved that you are a bad toxic person and a bad toxic gamer and have a illogical defective malfunctional brain. You are contributing to the poisonous evil scum side of gaming by being incapable of enjoying video games properly. If you're incapable of enjoying phenomenal games just because their too "similar" to eachother you clearly have a bad brain. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the fact that the Ezio games and Kenway games are so similar to eachother and re-use so many assets. Nothing about that is bad or detracts from the experience in any way, in fact, it actually ENHANCES the experience because it makes the games feel more connected and part of the same world which enhances the immersion. The more game developers change the engine and the graphics and characters and story, the more disconnected the series feels and that defeats the entire purpose of a series. The whole point of a series is CONTINUITY and everything being CONNECTED. Assassin's Creed is phenomenal at this and I love it because I see how truly great it is. YOU are toxic for being a contributing factor to all AAA game developers' obsessions with always needing to constantly reboot and change up everything when in reality it's pointless and unnecessary and just makes everything worse. Only bad evil toxic scum with bad malfunctional brains are incapable of enjoying video games the way I do. The only possible way someone could not enjoy AC: Revelations is if you factually have a incompatible brain and you are undeniably messed up in the head. There is no other logical explanation. You clearly have some mental disease that causes you to be incapable of experiencing and loving and enjoying stories and virtual experiences like I do. I get nothing but amazing phenomenal experiences and love everything about it because my brain is good and better than yours. I don't have any of the issues that you have and my experience is superior because I don't have your mental deficiencies. You are missing out on my amazing experiences. There is nothing wrong with the game when I play it and my perception of it is phenomenally vastly superior to yours. You're the one that is wrong, not the game and not me. If you did everything did, knew everything I knew, thought everything I thought, felt everything I felt, and reacted exactly the same way I do to everything, you would have a significantly better experience just like me. You are a loser and I am the winner.

When the higher-ups of the company started to push their ideas on the game, forcing the game designers to hold their creativity. For example, in ac3 Desmond wasn't supposed to die, ac3 was supposed to be a link between the "Animus saga" and an assassin's Creed set in the modern day but higher ups pushed for Desmond to die cause they were too scared that people wouldn't have enjoyed a more modern game, when you halt an artist's creativity it's the beginning of the end, don't get me wrong i still like a few games after ac3 (ac4, unity, origins) but all the others i didn't mention are just kinda "ok" and a few don't even feel like assassin's creed. Now we are stuck with this current rpg formula that barely has any assassin's creed elements and the few that are there are mostly fan service with no real significance to the story.

For something like that you need more time and by that time Ubisoft had very much started treating AC like an annual release (although a little blame does fall on Patrice for centering the series around 2012). For a project this ambitious you need more than the 2 and a half years allotted. This game needed at least another year for it to fully realize its potential. Overpromising and underdelivering, because they want to rush releases, is what has killed Ubisoft's reputation.

Cyberpunk è bello solo per la grafica e ci gioca gente solo per quello

AC3 has an impressive amount of animations, and are more than Unity and of the all AC series and other franchise and it has secret animations that no one noticed or Speaking about. Speaking of animations in all of this years I found new animations that I never saw like when it rains and you walk for a few seconds Connor will rise his hand and cover his face or put his head down, or when the enemies are searching for him he covers his face, all the social stealth animations. The impressive animations of all wildlife, from the baby deer playing jumping around his mother, the elks against each other, bears relaxing on the tree on the back or drink water, foxes can be seen hunting other little animals like hares, wolfs attacks other guards and killing them or the lynx The same but with different animations, jumping on their back and bite on the neck and many many others, and of course you can kill the little rats by crushing with your feet and you can hear the crack sound and their scream with some blood on the ground. My god, this the best detailed AC so far, I can continue on with all the animations for Connor, from the "strange" style of walk and run (which I love it), the new jump animations, all the climbing animations on the edges of windows, on the scratch of rock which Connor put his hand between the scratch (this reminds me a lot from Prince of Persia (2008) Prodigy, another great game with again one of the smoothest animations), all the trees climbing animations, when Connor can stumble on deep snow and in general when the snow is high. It's only in AC3, AC4 doesn't have all of this detail, even in the Naval gameplay, in AC3 you can see all of the animations that NPC does, instead in Black Flag are much more less detailed with basic animations for NPC so with all the cut between the different animations, instead in AC3 you can see that are all connected with each other, and this is only for NPC, or other small anim that Connor does when He says "Fire!", He raise his hand in the direction of the other ship, in AC4 Edward doesn't, but only in the very first world premiere gameplay trailer in the beginning of 2013 so with a lot of animations that was still remains from AC3 like the walk style and then they changed it to give Edward his style of walk and run, but in general all of the animations of black flag are less than AC3. Thanks to all for reading this book😅 but I want to notice what AC3 is what it is, the best detail game, because you can clearly see all the efforts the team has puts inside the game, from the "small" things like the muscles of the horse when they contract while running and you can see all the folds, to the biggest and entire animations just for the Homestead characters, like the one that cuts all the pig from the from the limbs, opening it in 2 and putting each part of the animal in the box with always different animations for the weight.

Seeing this prototype makes me want something like this to actually happen like the attention to detail when you see Connor walk through the snow and see him trip a fair bit thats so much attention to detail especially the effort being put into this animation which sucks as Ubisoft doesn't put this much effort into a game with super killer graphics and also amazing movement and gameplay anymore...... like yes its animated and whatever but at this point its very easy to do with enough time and effort from Ubisoft.
