Model 307 Alpine CT - Product Overview

The Alpine™ CT is built on our newest bolt action rifle platform, the Model 307™. Featuring a Peak 44 bastion stock and a BSF carbon fiber barrel, the Alpine CT delivers unmatched accuracy at the range and in the field. You'll also find an externally adjustable TriggerTech trigger, classic hinged floorplate, and a Peak 44 picatinny rail attached right out of the box. Additionally, this rifle comes with our brand new Accubrake DST™, our first direction self-timing brake that funnels gasses to the sides of the muzzle to reduce felt recoil.
Available in standard short and long actions, the Alpine CT not only offers some of Weatherby’s historic magnum cartridges but is also available in some of the most popular cartridges on the market.
The Alpine CT is compatible with most after-market 700® platform parts, making it the most open platform in the Weatherby line-up.

Can you provide some information on those after market accessories on the fore-end of the stock? If I bought this rifle I would want that rail and aca Swiss attachment. Does the install require drilling etc?

Interested as well, what did it take to get what looks like a picatinny rail at the fore end.

I already bought a different rifle that had all those features i was asking about included. Weatherby should respond to comments on their videos they post about their products.

For that price, why is there not an adjustable cheek riser

I can dig it but that paint jobs gotta go, reminds me of a crazy liberal chicks abstract painting you'd find in art class. you can surely do better than that... right, especially for $2200, heres an idea give buyers the option to pick the stock with either painted or plain. that way we dont have to pay more to cover up any ugly paint schemes
