I grew up in the 2000s here in Canada, this show was a huge part of my childhood. The design of this mask always stuck with me it just has that classic halloween monster feel to it.
I moved to Ontario when I was like 8 and remember freaking out when I saw the CN tower in the background of one of the shots, no idea at the time it was a Canadian production
Fun fact, the guy who made the Goosebumps tv series Haunted mask was my mom's teacher way back when she was in school. I thought that was pretty cool, and I've been a huge Goosebumps fan ever since!
Kathryn Long recently revealed she also kept one of the masks as well as one of the Carly Beth busts.

Always have to appreciate something that brings such nostalgia. Growing up in the 90s, Goosebumps played a major role in becoming the horror fan that I am today. The Haunted Mask was by far my favorite episode and I still watch it as tradition every year around Halloween. I remember wanting that mask as a kid, and seeing that it still exists brings me joy.

Fun fact Chris: In 96, 97, I can't remember exactly, in School Carnival (in that time, didn't exist Halloween here in Spain) I dressed like Carly Beth, but, obviously, no haunted mask in stores (I wanted so badly😂) so I bought half cheap gorila mask, I printed with green colour and I added carboard fangs printed in yellow, and I was the sensation in class😂😂😂 what a beautiful memories...I still adore Goosebumps (the title here was PESADILLAS, Nightmares in english) My top episodes: Haunted Mask 1,2, Living Dummy 2,3 and...Well, almost all of them😜😂 Big hug mate!
That sounds so cool. I wish I was that creative as a kid. I would have been so jealous to see another kid at least attempt to do something like that.
Haunted Mask 2 was always my favorite. Always found it to be more creepy than the first one and loved the Halloween aesthetic in that episode
Werewolf Skin always stuck with me as one of the scariest episodes of the show, and for that, it was one of my favorites alongside Horrorland and The Haunted Mask
I was obsessed with Goosebumps growing up and it holds such a special place in my heart that I've just bought the haunted mask from trick or treat studios and displayed it next to my old VHS tape of those episodes. Also literally just recently bought some clothing from CavityColors of their new Goosebumps line so yeah, loved seeing the OG mask still exists. 😊
This is me all over. I still have the version that was sold back when the show came out. Used it for a movie made for high school back in 98.

I was born in 2001 and didnt watch the show in the 90's obsiously. But every halloween cartoon network would air episodes and it became a STAPLE of my childhood after that.
I was scrolling through CZcams late last night, and i see this video, and i just say to myself. They already made a video about Trents new prop?! Very cool Vid and congratulations again Trent. It truly is a beautiful prop.

@@michaelryanparr5138 it does, adds to the “unloved” aspect of the masks. I honestly my try and make a cardboard face mask of the haunted mask as it looks today cause it looks cool. Still sad that it’s in that condition though
The Haunted Mask was the Goosebumps book I ever read, but definitely not the last. This was such a cool vid about the screen props journey after the filming ended. Thanks Chris :D

I was born in 2000 and went to elementary school around 2006ish, but I spent SO much time reading goosebumps in class/the library as well as watching the show whenever it aired on cable TV. Classic stories

That is so cool! I love how fans help other fans! I was like you the Haunted mask did scary me as a kid but I also loved it too, I still watch those eps (and number 2) each year in October, usually at least twice.

I remember reading this story as a kid and I was horrified.
We had Kathryn Long and Ron Stefaniuk on our podcast recently and they both have a mask. Ron still has the mold apparently as well.
Great show. I miss those days. I feel so old. Hayden went far. Same with the og 78 Myers prop mask. I know it’s in a vault deteriorating but it should be restored and 3d scanned. I sometimes wish I had the means but it and restore it myself and preserve it just like the Halloween 4 mask
I grew up in the 2000s/2010s, but my aunt had a dvd collection of goosebumps and me and my brother would always watch them whenever we’d go visit, and I remember my favorite always being the werewolf of fever swap.
I was never the same after that mask.

Yo, where did you get the stand for your Freddy gloves? I have a handmade glove that I’ve always kept on my desk, but never found a prosthetic hand that fit it well enough to work as a stand.

This copy is so rotted and distorted, it wouldn’t be good for that. Ron Stefaniuk just revealed on a podcast he actually still has the molds for the haunted mask- now that would be cool to obtain, from the real molds rather then a scan
