Good job George! We were on the edge of the path and the clouds actually held off enough to see it but it didn't get dark here, more like evening dark.
I made it up to Lexington Ohio for the Eclipse, just SE of Mansfield. Great show we had about 3 1/2 minutes of Eclipse. Red Spots were great. Solar Flares as per the Astronomy Students sitting next to us.
I took the whole family North about an hour to see the eclipse at 100% totality. It was so awesome. I had no idea totality was that cool. If I would have known it was 100% at your place I probably would have drove out there though. Glad you got to see it as well.
Great capture with the garage light as reference and time lapse.
I needed a way to counter the GoPro auto adjusting the exposure.

I've seen 98% here but this was the first time for total at my place.
Pretty cool that you got it on video. Thanks for sharing it.
I wish I had better cameras for the shots thru the glasses. Did my best.

Wish I could have got the flares on video...

I was pretty cool, wouldn't want to be on the road today lol.
Traffic up my way was crazy. Pymatuning had a big event for it since we had almost 3 minutes of totality.
Thank you George for sharing that amazing video we didn't see it here in Ireland
Glad you liked it. Sorry I didn't have better cameras for the sun shots but there are plenty of those on CZcams.
That was so cool to see! It got so dark you could see the stars! I didn’t think it would get so dark
Actually it turns out that star was a planet, I think Venus.
We had 2 minutes of totality here. The kids loved it. What a sight it was when the moon covered the sun.
One of the reasons I made a video of it was for my grandkids who are currently too young to fully grasp it.
That was neat how fast it got dark once it was fully covered
yea it was surprising how long it lasted too!
Interesting that the timestop show that flickering with the lights in the shed. Thought with LEDs you wouldn't have that.
LED lights do that all the time but it seems to depend on how bright it is around them.
