I had a dentist appointment and ended watching it WITH the dentists on the TVs they had. We tried to go outside and look through a half of some glasses, but it was too cloudy. I managed to somehow watch it using CNN for two hours, even though I had so many interruptions. THERE WERE SO MANY MARRIAGES. Honestly, my favorite the one at Niagara Falls, someone proposed at the perfect time. Another time, the screen flashed a brilliant light as the it set into place and as it slowly faded, you could sing a blue ring of light surrounding the eclipse.
I come from Maine in the USA by canada and in Maine it lasted the longest from everywhere else and i did tribal dances around our drummers and i was possibly on the news with other native Americans! I was wearing a mask hat and my ribbon skirt! It was so pretty to see the solar eclipse! My dad canceled his docter appointments to see it! I loved it so much lol i almost ran into the camera men on accident but my sis pulled me out of the way
For the people that don’t have eclipse glasses, I’m pretty sure welding masks work, my dad gave me one once when I was little so I wouldn’t cut a hole in a cardboard box and put my sunglasses in expecting it to work
I live in San Antonio and my friends and I got glasses and went outside to a courtyard to watch. It was cloudy af, and we didn’t see the actual eclipse happen 😭 It did get totally dark for about 3 minutes though, so it was pretty cool.

Yeah, apparently in lots of places it will be cloudy, but in the path of totality the sky will still go dark like it suddenly became night, its still such a surreal experience
I love this because it’s accurate. In New York practically everyone in New York City and Albany as well as other cities are moving into the path of totality. Problem with that is that roughly half a million people are moving to Oswego alone. I don’t even want to imagine towns or cities with a river and one bridge.

I watched it and you could see the night coming during the day. It looks like a giant rain cloud coming fast towards you, and the birds went crazy. It was very cloudy in New York, and I only caught a glimpse of it just after totality in between clouds! It lasted about 4 minutes! What really blows my mind is that it eclipses the sun at the same exact size, just enough to be able to see the plasma fields from the sun! Like what are the odds? when the sun, earth, and moon are all different sizes. Yet its less common than a chance than being in the path to see it!

The day this happens, clouds came in just a few hours before the eclipse started for me. They left about an hour after the eclipse ended. I saw a bit of it through the clouds tho for a few seconds
I always love watching Kobi’s video , he is like my younger brother always giving fascinating and marvellous information about space!! I’m space enthusiast and a rocket scientist and I love these information as even I don’t know many of these stuff
Some of my family and I took a day trip to South Carolina to see the one in 2016 (or 2018, don't remember which year it was.) If you can drive to somewhere in the path of totality to view this one, I highly recommend it. It's pretty incredible having the day basically turn to night and back in the span of 5 minutes or so.
I'm in Vermont and in the path of the eclipse. So many people are coming to our state that school is going to be closed for the day lol. Some people i know are flying across the country to see it, meanwhile we're just walking for 2 minutes. I'm so excited!

ONCE in lifetime, in average just 175 years a place got a solareclipse 100% totality and then you have an application at a dentist 😁
