Margaret Theresa of Spain (Spanish: Margarita Teresa, German: Margarete Theresia; 12 July 1651 - 12 March 1673) was, by marriage to Leopold I, Holy Roman Empress, German Queen, Archduchess of Austria and Queen of Hungary and Bohemia. She was the daughter of King Philip IV of Spain and the elder full-sister of Charles II, the last of the Spanish Habsburgs. She is the central figure in the famous Las Meninas by Diego Velázquez, and the subject of many of his later paintings.

⚜️🇨🇦⚜️'The Cardinal participated in the development of the merchant fleet, supported royal factories and the creation of monopoly companies which laid the first milestones of the first French colonial empire. Thus, in 1627, after dissolving the Compagnie de Montmorency , he created the Compagnie des Cent-Associés whose mission was to colonize
    ⚜️New France⚜️
in exchange for the monopoly on the fur trade and commerce. Richelieu protected the emerging colony by notably promoting the establishment of the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec, in 1637, by his niece, the Duchess of Aiguillon ."

"was an ordinary chap" next sentence "went to become a bishop"
Was that supposed to be a joke or was it accidental?

The King locked his mother away after she was upset that her son ordered the killing of her foster sister Leonora Dori Galigaï by burning her at the stake, right after Louis had Leonora's husband Conconi Concono executed on the entrance of the Louvre Castle. Concino Concini, 1st Marquis d'Ancre was an Italian politician, best known for being a minister of Louis XIII of France. I assume any mother would be upset and Richelieu was pulling all the strings for his own wealth and advantage, he learnt the power of the press and hired writers to form good public image proganda for himself, and sent the King's mother into exile.

Almost all of history and law are conspiracy theory, not lone-person theory.
