As an old semi-retired dairy farmer here in the US, Clarkson's Farm has done wonders to bring awareness of what governments and corporations have been doing to farmers for years! Farm On Jeremy!
I never imagined that running a farm would be so much work. Clarkson opened my eyes to this - respect to all farmers!

They want the land so instead of giving you a fair price they’ll simply starve the industry of money and then they’ll buy if for super cheap as all the farmers would eventually hav to move on to something else land is more valuable then any amount of money

Hammond's workshop is truly awesome too.bought clarksons book pigs fly cause was so impatient for the third series. First line still makes me laugh.ive always been suspicious of people with hobbies.😂😂😂😂
Not farming related, but look up Fred Dibnah for some excellent TV from when I was a lad. He knew what a hard day’s graft looked like.

Coming from a family that's farmed this island for 1500+ years I have a lot of respect for what Clarkson has done to bring it to the public eye and made it bloody entertaining along the way.

Jeremy needs to rename his show "Clarkson versus the government."
Sadly common sense will not win against the government. So you can park a tractor and get in trouble for damaging the soil in terms of compacting it yet you can rip through a field on a green field site and stick up a housing estate no drama.
Every farmer is continually against the government trying to do the right thing by the land, the animals and their family. They make it impossible. Not just in the UK - but in all first world countries. They want farming ceased by 2030 and they're doing their utmost to make it happen :(

Jeremy doesn't need another pointless gong. He just needs to continue doing this so that we really understand what farmers are going through and we need to learn how we can support our local farmers as much as we can.
I visited Clarkson’s Farm last summer and drank Hawkstone beer in the cow shed!!! 🐄🍺

The irony is he has been rumored to have bought a pub/restaurant in one of the local towns so Traffic will be worse in the town now but its council approved

Everyone Hates Chipping-Norton City Council: Season 3
Yeah, but they do have a point. Until very recently they had privacy, quiet and no tourists. Jeremy has made the place a bit of a circus to be fair and they have experienced a lot of disruption as a result. Yes, a lot of money coming into the area but not for everyone. And sure that the locals are not overjoyed at their favorite pub being overrun by foreigners hoping to see Gerald or Charley or Caleb. Not sure there was anything Jeremy could have done to make it easier but I don't blame them for using the means at their disposal for fighting back. The people that lived there for decades, even their entire lives, were not consulted on whether they wanted their lives and routines upended.

@@whynotzoidberg2971 No, but you do to open a business or build new facilities. I think these people have the right to fight to continue living in peaceful quietude. All the crowds and traffic in such a small village have got to be terribly disruptive. Quality of life is a real thing. Jeremy never needed to open up the store or a restaurant. He just didn't; he knew his fame would draw in far more people than the area could manage easily.
@@cvn6555 They have the right to move. Every western country is atrophying because a bunch of NIMBY stick in the muds are using threats of violence via government bodies to stimy any dynamism. God forbid anything changes or anyone suffers a bit of inconvenience.

I love Jeremy’s efforts to keep things interesting and new (even if the last wasn’t 10/10), and his astute ability to turn topical & sometimes controversial topics into a well reported debate whilst being fun.
Looking forward to this very much and agree that the second season was not quite as great as the first. Would not be surprised for this one to be the best so far.

I can't wait for this. Great cast and great to see light being shed on the difficulties farmers face nowadays. Notice how everything is getting harder to sustain and maintain a farm nowadays and farmers have no option but to sell parts if not all of their land 😢 and guess who's buying up all the land for peanuts? The elites. This madness has to stop enough is enough
Great to see cheerful Charlie and Caleb saw the Prime Minister and hopefully make some much needed changes for farming. (Im not from the UK so dont know if they made a difference)
