  • o the group 5 Porsche 908/3 code name "terrier" was built to compete at the nordschleife where light and nimble beats heavy and cumbersome.....Thats the therorie, in practice? The car certainly comes alive here!

    I don't know why the CZcams algorithm chose your video for me but I am glad it did. I haven't seen the game before and that was a nice video. I did get some of the tension when you try to take narrow overtaking chances. You recover well from the spin after putting in so much effort, staying (mostly) in control and not losing your nerve during the recovery. Nice work.

    I have been a AC devotee for many years, it's just a shame that the game was never optimised for VR the way in which AMS2 is, I have become more of a fan of AMS2 for VR over the past months, though having spent so many years with AC and its outdated Graphics/physics engine, I'm struggling to find the balance in AMS2 with the car/tyre physics, but I am getting there slowly, watching you push these cars around the track is inspiring though, thanks for such great content, please keep the coming, as it gives me pointers for my own driving Owen.

      Thanks for the feed back, really helpful, long time fan of AC too......You do know just as you get to grips with it update 1.6 will drop and change the phtsics up a notch again LOL

    What an awful end when Moby pump you out. Good driving, good vid, good appetizer for visiting 24h Nords at the end of the month.

    I was kinda counting the number of times you sent the AI onto the grass and was wondering why they continue to just take it. Well, they didn't, apparently they had enough of your driving. That last bump to your rear end was the exact same move you pull onto others. Now done to you in sweet payback form.
    Karma at its finest.
    Haven't tried this 908 yet but it looks like a fine machine. Guess it may be the closest thing to a 917 that we'll get? Don't recall if there's a 917 in PC2, so our chances of ever seeing one may be close to nil?

    • @cdrseabee

      917 LH in PC2

      Try driving a clean lap round thre in the group 5's, they had me on the grass a fair few times, the last guy made a perfect pit manouver on me, all that was missing was the blue flashing lights LOL

      @Slakass55 actually the porsche legends pack has the and 917/10. And if we could get the 71 LeMans track......

      @@cdrseabee Yep, thanks for the heads up. A quick search shows both the k and 10 models. Hopefully they will release both mods in the future, since they are so distinct from one another. As happy as this makes me, the greedy side of me can't help but to wish there was a /30 too. What can I say, I'm a sucker for historic monsters.

    Lens flare in vr annoys me, breaks the immersion. My eyes don't get lens flare, and neither would a helmet visor.

    • @hereward1971
      @hereward1971  Před 14 dny +1

      Yep I don't have lenses for eyes, totaly agree but it's for the flat screen watchers who are watching as if through a lense in 2D
