She entered 2024 as a single woman in her mid-40s, following the divorce from her ex-husband of 13 years, and is determined to live life to the fullest. Embracing your 40s is easy. Try embracing your 70s.
And yet society tells you that you should only embrace your 20s and that's it. After that you are supposingly and old woman. I turned 30 in 2023 and some people literally felt sorry for me. Personally however I was happy to turn 30. My grandparents were extremely youthful and active in their 70s so I am convinced that one should embrace their 70s as well.
Too right! When you’re in the region of 70, your parents are deceased and so are many of your friends, life is so different and can be very lonesome if you have no siblings. But ageing isn’t a choice, one just has to stay healthy and happy and embrace life.
