Just bought my dream bike. Beta 300rr. Was on a 21 yz250x which I needed the blip thing for. But this new 300 in 3rd gear can come up and hold a smooth wheelie without clutch or blipping it. Absolutely love it!

You make it look so much easier than it is my problem is my foot placement on the brake and when to pop the clutch you make it look so easy!!!!
the further up yu have your foot on the peg the easier it is to use the brake

I got comfy doing wheelies on a WR250. I can pop up to balance point or just past it. I can let off and come back down. Rarely need brake.
Snapped a wheelie on my YZ250 and came to balance point and was damn near coasting. Had boots on and completely couldn’t tap the brake.
2 stroke you NEEEED NEEED NEED rear brake. Great tips!
Also, if you’ve got a Rekluse clutch, good luck. Wheelies will be ridiculously hard.

Thanks man I think you helped a bit. I bought a 380 ktm as my first bike.. i haven’t died yet but I definitely do not need to pop the clutch😭😭 so much power, only problem I have is I gain speed way to fast when I do wheelies
of you’re gaining speed fast it’s because you’re chasing the wheelie. popping the clutch allows you to get the front wheel up to balance point a lot quicker, and when you’re in the balance point you won’t gain speed

I got a 250 and in 2nd gear that thing pops right up so I always go with 3rd but I'm thinking I need to try 2nd and also don't hold the clutch all the way in!!!

it’s possible to do it without the clutch, but using the clutch makes it a lot easier

the only thing i can think of is that your probably aren’t popping the clutch right. if you pull the clutch in too much it won’t work, you only pull it in a little bit and pop it right at the edge of the band when you give it gas

3rd gear will fix your problems. 2nd gear is too touchy. In third you actually have time to controll the bike
@@Baboner984 if he’s having trouble getting his wheel up in a touchier gear, going up a gear wouldn’t help it would make it harder to get the wheel up

What is a power band
I will try to explain it buddy, a powerband is where your bike has the most power on a 4 stroke u have a very wide powerband which means it accelerates at all rpms all the way to top gear a 2 stroke has a very high powerband which means when you are accelerating it doesn’t go as fast until u get in the high rpm’s then it suddenly feels like a rocket when that powerband hit on a big 2 stroke it feels like NOS tho
