S Jaishankar thanks late Iranian President Raisi and FM Abdollahian for Chabahar port agreement

  • In an interaction at a school in New Delhi on Monday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar thanked late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and FM Abdollahian, who were killed in a fatal helicopter crash on Sunday. He praised their interest and initiative that helped India to finalise a long term agreement with Iran.
    Talking about connectivity corridors, he added, "India will be very much at the centre of this whole thing.     Next time, can you please ask, what is his plan in improving India's passport strength. Even countries like Malasya has a strong pasport.
    A strong Indian passport will lead to less people renouncing indian citizenship.
