The great thing about Nurgle conversions is that if you screw up you can just say "that's weird looking because Grandfather Nurgle works in mysterious ways".

Looks great, though I for one would have gone with Slaanesh because of the dragon (greed) or Tzeentch (water theme).
Imagine how horrifying a Slaaneshi Dragon would be?

This totally rocks!!! Maybe add some drool from the dragon's mouth. Personally, I would have added a screaming space marine dissolving in a pool under the goo-pot, but that's just me...

I have been going for outrageous humor. Like my Verlinden 120 WW II GI standing in front of the TARDIS from Doctor Who, while a dog pees on it. Or my Verlinden 1812 British infantryman before a fire making Hotdogs and Smores. The Pot poring over the side, immediately suggested making it honey and have Winnie the Pooh standing there in awe! 😂

Normally I watch a video and have to go buy a new paint or brush. Now I feel the need to acquire a basecoating sombrero.
3:09 In this case sprue goo would not have worked, because the print is resin, but in my experience you can sand or scrape sprue goo down just fine. Maybe Milliput is easier to sand though, but both work. Upside of Milliput is that you have more time to work with it before it's cured. Downside is that if you would end up stripping the model, Milliput will not survive , while sprue goo would.
Really high production value on this one, nice job! Imo the whole thing still looks a little bit too "clean" for Nurgle but I think a big part of that is just the pretty well pruned tree, which sorta feels out of place in 40k somehow

Put the hydration foam inside, fill with water, put paper towels on top, put baking paper on top

I like the idea of "Warhammer-ifying" non-GW models and I would also like to convert some DnD models with Warhammer Chaos bits, so it'll look like that character/creature had been corrupted by either one of the Chaos Gods or Chaos Undivided, maybe something like a DnD Orc who's dedicated to Khorne instead of Gruumsh or a Slaaneshi Bard for example
for how long do you let vallejo primer dry and cure? I always paint in "steps" over a week and so I usually leave it for ~3 days or more until the seeet smell is gone. also moar vids nao

Do you ever print and paint miniatures from loot studios? I don't paint Warhammer but I apply all of your techniques to painting fantasy figures because I'm hoping it's universal and not just Warhammer style lol
