Wow, this is the first explanation I've found on trying to stay cool at night, great video!
wish there were a place to actually sleep on these for a few nites and not have to shell out $5,000 for the actual product and the hassle of returning it if you don't actually sleep cooler......
👍🏽VERY informative! Thanks
My TempurPedic Luxebreeze keeps very cool. Great mattress and so comfortable
Need to know what temp it is outside and inside your home when you say it keeps you cool at night .
Excellent information.
Acute hospitals had, back in the 70s or 80s, a self contained fluid recirculation cooling "single"mattress for hospital use for more extreme situations. The cooling unit was hung off the footboard and cooled the patient with a "pad containing recirculating fluid .
They were no doubt very expensive then and today due to "medical" use requirements.
Oh,theres noise issues with the cooling device while in operation and the possibilities of leaks or punctures and a host of other disadvantages.
Phase change would likely be cheaper/less maintenance issues to attain the temps for most of the public.
So if there's a less expensive fluid exchange system how would it compare in performance, reliability ,maintenance and cost than the phase material mattress.
There are enough variables to make it more difficult to determine which would be better for use by the public at large.
Both Price, performance reliability, maintenance between a non medical fluid exchange unit and the phase change matteress could be a huge difference .Its way too much for most consumers to determine accurately for their needs. Thanks for people like yourself that make it more likely we can make a more informed decision.
REM sleep isn't deep sleep. Deep sleep is deep dreamless sleep or stage 4 sleep. When we are dreaming our brains are becoming more active which is why we are dreaming and this is when REM sleep is occurring
I keep waking up during REM dreams every 1.5 to 2 hours. It's annoying as I'm so sleep deprived the next day. It happens 4 times a night, every 2 hours.
How do these compared to the brooklyn bedding Aurora?
Very informative. Thanks!
What about an innerspring mattress? Since there are coils at the core of the mattress, there should be plenty of air flow, won't it?
Is there a cover that I can use with my ProAdapt tempurepedic mattress?
Good information. Im suprised Purple Mattress weren't addressed here
When you say at 3:55 that "it's been proven" that it keeps you cooler at night, can you provide a link to the proof?
If it is made of foam, it cannot wick moisture away from you. Therefore, foam mattresses are crap do not get them. I am a very hot sleeper, and all it does is reflect the heat and moisture back on you at night.
No word of latex??
