Hi there! 👋🏻 We live on a 1-acre farm right in the middle of the busy city of Phoenix, Arizona! Our names are Kevin & DaNelle, and we moved here in 2009, when our kids Ethan & Lydia were just 6 & 4 years old 🥰 Over the years we've raised goats for milk, chickens for eggs, built a fish/swim pond, planted fruit & nut trees, and grew a large garden full of veggies. We've also raised a bunch of other animals like pigs, sheep, turkeys, geese, peacocks, and more!
Now that our kids are away at college, we have settled into doing what we love most -- which is raising & breeding goats ethically to improve genetics. But don't worry, we'll forever love our goofy pet goats like Luna the herd queen & Willow the stump lover. We also still love raising chickens for eggs, gardening, tending to the fruit & nut trees, and growing fish in the pond. We use the fresh goat's milk to make cheese, butter, yogurt -- and we use that + everything else we harvest on our little farm to make delicious meals. Having a getaway from the busy world right in our backyard brings so much joy to us each day, and we hope it brings some to you, too. 🥰

LOL that was pretty funny, I personally love healthy snacks, I grew up with them so snacking on junk food just doesn't work for me. I love having some tomatoes for a midnight snack, maybe a cucumber. Avocados are yummy too......and watching these videos just makes me hungry all the time with the cooking portion XD.

I work with rescuing birds and the smell of humans/oils on hands is a myth. Though I agree she might not want to sit on them if you move them but I would think putting them all in a place where she laid one before should be fine.

If u fail at getting ur turkey kiwi to want to make and nest sit on her eggs etc etc but u rlly want to hatch some turkeys as a last resort I recommend silky hens they're VERY good chickens for Sitting on eggs.

I made it for my husband for Valentines day, double layer with chocolate icing on top and in the middle and sprinkle hearts made with a heart shaped cookie cutter. They haven't breed Willow yet but if you look back they have it planned when she is old enough. Then after she kids to milk her.
They can't she is to young to have babies. Therefore no milk.🍼

I like pygmy and Nigerian Dwarf milk. It seems to be richer in cream. The Nubian gives more milk and more cream than most dairy goats. I've been crossing them hoping for more rich milk. We'll see what happens.
