Thank All of You For Your Support!! Every video watched, every thumbs up, every comment, every purchase through an Amazon link, and to my patrons, thank you for supporting our channel! - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I’ve learned everything about birthing my goats from YOU. Now I’m attempting cheese and doubt I would have ventured forth without you. I am almost 70 yrs old and this new lifestyle with goats is the best in my life. I 🙏 thank you so much,! About to start warming my 3 gallons goat milk. 🤞🤞🤞
Yay!! Get it gurl!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Isn't it amazing that someone way back in our collective past invented cheese! Now it's universal and common place! 😎🧡🐐
I'm guessing nobody invented cheese. It was likely found in the udders of dead animals from colder climates by indigenous peoples.
If that cheese is any less than what you planned, it certainly won’t be from a lack of effort.
Crystal is so cute mommy Emily is lucky because she has a lovely and hardworking mommy I am really proud of you crystal you are a legend. You will always my inspiration and my ideal
🤗
She is Awesome! 💜
Crystal is doing her second favorite thing making cheese.

I have been watching you for quite a while. I do not have any animals nor do I live on a farm. I am retired & enjoy watching you tube. I have recommended several people to your channel who raise goats.
Thank you!
I hope you fry some of those curds!! It’s so yummy! Fried cheese curds!
My goodness is there Anything you don't do... You are an Amazing Lady! From being a Wife, Momma, Veterinarian (to your personal animals) & someone who makes their own 🧀 🐐 goat cheese... I can't help but think of the children's story about eating their Curry & way... ( May have spelled Curry wrong)...
You are amazingly patient Crystal with your cheese making! I so enjoyed this vlog ❤️
We watch lots of cheese making videos, YOU are the cheese making queen!! LOVE all you do and explain it all so well. Thanks so much for all your help with our homesteading adventures!

Look at you with your hair down! You look Beautiful with it up and with it down.. The Cheese turned out perfect! ✨
A good treat for little kids is using rennet to make curds and whey. I have even made it using chocolate milk before. Yum.
What a process - didn’t realize everything involved in making cheese. Looks good from this end 😊
I’m fascinated watching this whole process and have a whole new appreciation for cheese. I never knew how it was made or how long it took. I’m amazed by how much work you do and you never seem exhausted
Thanks for sharing all these awesome videos!
Since W&R has gone to once a week. This is a good time for you to bring in more scribes. Keep up the great volume and you will be home full time soon.
Wow I had no idea what goes into making cheese 🧀😲😲 it’s amazing it doesn’t cost more !
Lol! Right!?
Amazing 🙏
This actually helps me in my cheese endeavors. It helped me clarify a step I was not clear on. Cheers!
I just read that you can use whey for soups in replacement of stock. Wow this cheese making is interesting. I love trying to find ways to be self sustaining and use every little bit of the of the resources our great planet gives us. Thanks so much for your videos! Definitely loving them all!
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL, YOU PUT EFFORT IN ALL YOU DO, I AM LEARNING A LOT , THANKS A LOT
lovin the content on this channel. great communicator, and an awesome mum I bet. good luck to ya. Im trying to come up with a horizontal curd cutting attachement for yo'all .... ill keep you posted.
Wonder why i'm suddenly craving a toasted cheese sandwich...
Yas!
Interesting fact about Uganda in africa is they have no cheese makers . all the cheese is imported im on a mission to change that .
I appreciate this process so much.
First time watching you make cheese...damn, that's a lot of work.
You really got my attention when you said you would use the whey to make ricotta. I'm part Italian and could pretty much live off of ricotta (that's why I don't keep it on hand a lot).
Not sure if you have done a video on that, I'll check.
Thank you
❤️🐐
Haha! LOVE ricotta cheese! I need to make a video on it. I'll do that one for you!
Great job Crystal!
There is a lot of waiting in making cheese....BUT its so worth it.
You put a lot of love in your cheese. I love goat milk cheese.
Thanks for teaching us! Cheese looks yummy and your hair is 😍
I'm excited to see the finished cheese! 😊👍💕💕💕
I love your channel. I have learned so much about cheese making. It takes a lot of patience for sure and trial and error. You and your handy dandy notebook!
Really enjoyed this video! I don't like cheddar and have no interest in learning to make cheese so, the fun is just all about watching/listening to you in action. Never miss a video...
I watched you making cheese last year. You have so much more confidence this year. You rock !!
Great teaching video, Crystal!
I like that you're going to be taking slices off this wheel so you can evaluate the progress as it ages. This is where you really get to see the changes from the inside-out.
Love it.
Looks great!! Loved the squishy sounds when you broke up the curds!
Greetings from southern AZ! Thank you for all the valuable information!
I am hungry😀
Me too lol!!!!😄😄😄😄
Would be good to know how it turned out in the end....
Well done Crystal ! Bet it'll be delicious ! It's really Kool to see the process and how it progresses with each step you do.. amazing ! 🧀
Wow!! Crystal you make everything you make look easy.can you send me some of that cheese !!!! Love cheese !!!!! You are one amazing woman with making things out of goats milk to taking care of the goats daily needs as well as the other animals on your farm, and have to include your family you NEVER look exhausted very proud of you and you sharing everything with us.it must have taking you a long time to get settled and knowing what you wanted to you and your family keep it up super"goat+ " mom🤗😊🙄😗😘👍👍✌💚💛💜💟💘❤💓💖💙💗🌻🥀🌺🌼🌷⚘💐🌸🏵🌹💮🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀🧀Yummy 🏅🥇🌝🌞I'm sure your family are very extremely proud of you 💟💚💟

You made it look easy. Now I need to try it at least once.
Your hair is beautiful down
I feel so blessed by your videos. You have given me such confidence with my goats leading by example.
🤗🤗
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats between you and Danelle I've learned so much. You've changed all my "can I's?" To "I can". You're the real deal and I hope you go far.
Ok master goat lady now your going to be a master at cheese
All of the work that goes into that cheese it better taste good lol. Good thing you enjoy doing it!!
I wish you the happiness of your life. 👍👍👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️🌹
Wow that was a lot of work, well done I am so impressed, I don't think I have ever seen cheese made before.
This one is super expensive, but it should hopefully lead you to other products that are more affordable and don't look so "chromed out". lol You can find them under curd harp/cheese harp. I was trying to find something easier for you. I was going to put the link, then realized it was a Canadian one, so that's not so good for you. lol But there should be some on the US version of Etsy. Stay safe, as always!!! 💖😊
That looks delicious
Very interesting! Long process, but cheese is so yummy worth the wait lol
This is fascinating, I had no idea goat milk can turn into anything like cow's milk. I just thought goat milk can only make butter.
Wow That looks awesome 😁
Have you tried to smoke the cheese?? I have a friend here and every Christmas he smokes a bunch of cheeses for people. Taste sooooo good lol.. give Derrick something to do as if he dont have enough as is lmao
I am a goat cheese maker aholic now lol 😂 I love the cheese part !! Milk is awesome but the mmmmm that is so good from the cheese I get is a thanks to you !! Thank you !!
🤗
Only took me 4 times and 5 hours to watch this 😆😆 🤞 this one com ed out to perfection👍it looked really good..
Have a good evening 🌻🌻🌻
Lol!
New sub :) Love!
You certainly have the patience for making cheese!Looks fab gurl!I did not realize you had long hair and know now why you put it up in that heat❣
The heat, yes but there arent many things I do around the ranch that allow my hair to be down!
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats Ya as a farm girl growing up hair gets in the way of alot of things and into alot of things!Lol!
Love it! Hopes it turns out awesome 🧀🧀🧀
18:33
why do the curds remind me of egg mayo with lots of mayo minus the yolks? XD lol :) xxx
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Have you ever tried making cheese with goats milk that has been frozen? Wondering if it is worth trying with extra I have in teh freezer...
You're always my Cheese Whiz!!!
🤗
Awesome Wow your hair is so long and beautiful
Omg, I'm exhausted just watching you. I hope this gives you the best cheese.
Hey Crystal I forgot to comment on the hubs’ last video.....to finish his statement.... AT INDIANA BEACH 🎶 🎵 🎼 We used to live in Brownsburg IN! Guessing he lived somewhere in Indy??? Love your cheese videos! Miss having goats but live on highway and they would always get out 😳. Kristy in Missouri 😃
Haha!
Knife at a 45 degree angle will prevent having to cut the cuts with the laddle both directing just like up and down or you could get a curd harp.
My son has been after me to make hard cheeses. Your step by step instructions are eating my fears. Gonna have to take the plunge and just do it!
Will you be doing a segment on making ricotta? I have whey from making farmer's cheese and would love to make additional products.
Yes! Make that cheese gurl!! So rewarding to cut it open! I need to do a video on Ricotta!
@@BlueCactusDairyGoats Looking at cheese press, stock pot and slotted spoon that you have listed now. Maybe a refresher on your "hillbilly cheese cave".
This is totally off subject but you look really pretty with your hair down!!!!!
Lol. Thank you!
#2 comment swag!!! Love your videos and goats and homestead!
Other than the temperature differences, what are the differences between the colby and Cheddar?
You should try making goat milk cottage cheese..I'd be interested to watch it
💕💕
Great video, love all the information Crystal gives to us while making this cheese. How long will it take to make an "old" cheddar? Have you ever added anything into the cheese to make it the orange colour you see in cheeses purchased from the store? If you have did it change the flavour or consistency?
I aged 2 for a year and just recently opened them. They were good! To color them you use annatto. Yes I have done that with a Colby and it made it really beautiful. No change to flavor.
💕
Dude!! I am new to this channel and I am super excited to to try all the cheese recipes. My husband is still fighting with me about getting goats...but it's only a matter of time...BWAHAHAHA. LOL
Bwahahahaa!! Get them goats!!
Where did you buy that beautiful press?
Looks good! Do you have ax video that shows how you wax it?
I dont have a video just on waxing but have shown it some of the older videos.
Can you tell me where you bought the stainless steel pot you use in this video?
Have you made cheese curds for snacking?
When will baby's start to be delivered. I am a fan . I want to see them when born
Cheddar is usually a hard, less creamy cheese
