    Great vid ,but just need a bit of info on a tool you use ? We’re at the bit where your in the boot and have popped out the plastic ‘ guard ‘ where the boot latch is . Then you pull out the 2 rubber plugs and have to unscrew a small bolt which is located at the end of a long pin ! Is that a spark plug spanner ? If not , do you know what it’s called and size? Ta !

      Hey, it is an extra deep 10mm socket to remove the 10mm nuts. You can tape a couple of deep 10mm sockets together if you don’t have a super deep one

      @@jackgross3140 thanks for the info , great tip about taping them together !!!!

      @@jakegrace79no worries! They are usually not very tight from the factory, just tightly wrap some tape around the two sockets and it should fit over the threaded bar👌

      Daughters had the car 3 years , suddenly noticed wet rear carpets . Bit of searching and found it may be the 2 air vents behind the bumper ( hence your vid being handy !) . Gonna replace them , in your opinion is this likely to be the problem ??

    • @jackgross3140
      @jackgross3140  Před 3 měsíci

      @@jakegrace79 hey thanks for the feedback!
      100% the rear vents will be the cause of this as it is a common issue with the 176 A class!
      Most, if not all of them will have been affected with this problem by now.
      You can use silicone sealant to seal around them to prevent any water coming in
