I have work friends, that I'm exceptionally friendly & goofy with, but rarely hang out outside of work. Depends on your definition of friend & your comfort with the word friend I suppose.

5 shows a week. For ten years. That's 520 weeks, so that's around 2500 shows. Each show will have 10 tricks? I am guessing they do pretty much the same 10 tricks every time. Very hard to believe though. It's like this entertainment establishments lie every second whatever they want to, to make themselves look big and strong. And the whole social system benefits from it, which is why everyone will make a show of supporting it as well.
And how the hell do they have an audience for the same 10 tricks everyday. Total bullshit. Complete non sense, that's Vegas I guess, and anything in entertainment.

That's not how the trick works... He's got one in his mouth and palms the others, or none in his mouth and they're all palmed.
