- The Staffy twins have been adopted. Yes it’s true. They’ve been here at the farm now for almost 6 months and each and every one of us here at the farm have grown to love them both … A LOT!
I was hoping to put a special video together but Luke began talking about it yesterday afternoon so here it is …
I couldn’t be more delighted for Miss Violet and Miss “Ruby” Red.
Tears of absolute joy for these two.
Today is truly a glorious day for celebration!

Ruby Red is perfect! I am thrilled that both will be staying at the farm. I couldn't imagine spliting them up after all these months. Ms Red would be so lost with out Miss Violet.

When I read the headlines, I started to get sad thinking Miss Red and Miss Violet would be leaving. When you said they were staying with your family, I shrieked. I’m so happy! It’s wonderful for this precious duo, your family, and for us viewers.
Same here. I made sure to not read any comments before watching the video because I had my hopes so high that they’d be staying at the farm and I didn’t want to be disappointed before hearing the actual news. This is the best thing ever!

It has always seemed to me that Miss Red and Miss Violet are as attached to Sam as Sam is to them. I am glad that no one had to say good-bye, and I hope that Miss Red's immunity becomes stronger as she gets older.

I am just ecstatic that you, Luke & Sam, have adopted Miss Violet & Miss Red. They will be so happy for the rest of their lives thanks to you Luke & Sam. Y'all had my heart in the pit of my stomach when I read the words "adopted." I was about to start crying; then I heard Luke say "here forever." I started crying happy tears of relief. To be honest, I never thought Miss Violet was leaving, but Miss Red may be leaving. I too was bracing myself for when Miss Red left. But now they get to stay forever! I'd love a video with both Elle and Eve reactions when you tell them. I bet they're over the moon! 🐕❤💜🐾
I am crying tears of joy. Lately I have noticed these two "cuddle bugs" are never far from each other and was fearing their separation. Luke and Sam always put the puppies first and I commend them for their devotion to all the dogs God has placed in their care. You two have a special place in my heart...and of course all the "aunties and uncles" (staff) that have been part of the DDFT "pack". May you all be blessed a thousand times over. I am soooo HAPPY to hear the good news!

I am so pleased, it was my secret wish. I think as you say Luke she will have a great life eventhough she has a lot of very serious health issue. I think it is impossible not to get attached to these little angels. Miss Violet is incredible, the way she socialises with her impairments. Thank you for adopting these twin cuties. Take care. My heart sank when I read the title of the clip... Noooooo was my response, but as I watched on I was elated and so grateful.... Sam you are so nurturing and give expression of character to the sisters. Just imagine the books that you'll be able to write based on these two and their everyday antics... You both are the best, the amount of love you have for all the dogs can be felt through the screen. I can't even imagine how excited the girls must be. Sam your vulnerability, when you were talking about preparing yourself for the goodbyes with Miss Violet and Miss Red, was just beautiful and so heartwarming.

I have auto immune related vision loss too. These two girls mean the world to me. I’m glad to hear other feel the same. Seeing Ms Violet “Danger” Evans out there living it up w the big dogs and smashing through limitations is my favorite part of the day. ✌🏻

Totally agree. I had a wee schnauzer that was diagnosed with lupus when she was 5 we lost her last September age 10. She had hair loss and black lumps all over her body and felt the cold dreadful. But like the twins she loved a cuddle

As I recall, Elle named her "Violet" early on and Luke picked a light purple collar to go along with Elle's chosen name for her. It fits her.
So excited to hear of their adoptions!! You could tell they feel the farm is their home and the way they look at aunty sam in particular was the look of knowing she is their human mum. Congrats!!
I knew I wasn't the only one to noticed miss Red looking at Aubty Sam like a mother following her around with those lovestruck eyes.
This is wonderful news! Sam may have cried a flood if Miss Red had gone to a new home, but I bet that Luke would have shed a tear or two as well. The sisters are incredibly lucky to be officially members of the Evans pack and extended DDF family, where they'll continue to be nurtured and loved.....and always have a GSD to snuggle into ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️

Violet is her ONLY name. Go Violet! Miss Red too. They may be special needs,but what a wonderful life they have on the farm. 😀

Has learned to trust and love you all. She fits in so well and sets a good example for the pack- especially the present shelter gang. Like a lot of other followers, I was beside myself when I read that the pups had been adopted but that quickly changed to happiness when Luke said the girls were staying at the Farm permanently! Such wonderful and happy news. It reminded me of Freddo's adoption video - very sneaky!!😹😻 Welcome to your new (permanent) home girls. I imagine that Elle and Evie are thrilled at the news.

Well....now that my heart jumped back in my chest,maybe I can comment. When I saw the title this morning,for a minute my heart hurt. I thought I can't watch this. I thought maybe someone was going to adopt them to keep them together. Guess,what....I was right. My heart is literally soaring from so much JOY. Thank you Evans family and staff at DDFT for giving them their forever home. I have a deaf dog plus I myself have an auto immune disease so I understand the commitment it will take health and safety wise,but oh the rewards of watching these two little nuggets thrive at the farm. I never in a million years thought that two little puppies across the continents could be such a force of LOVE in this world. Luke, Sam, Elle,Evie,wolfie, and their momma shadow are truly angels. I'm so happy ya'all.
The Evans family never asks for financial help, but with the addition of these two to their pack and their added vet expenses, perhaps if your able we could all send a little money to help. We all know vet bills are not cheap.
I'm ecstatic for them and us out in the virtual world that we will get to see them over and over ,now that they have their amazing forever home.
