2 you can also blow up a Kali altar if you want to get a cape to skip the yeti cave to check quicker

Hold up, do you need to unlock EVERY character or do you need to only unlock like, 12 of them and have all of the starter characters take their place?
Trey Carter you do not need every character for seeded runs. Just 16 total.

I have 16 characters (including the first 4), beat Tiamat (using a shortcut), but don't have the ladder?

the game acknlowledges i beat hundun but i don't have pixel guy unlocked. where do i go to submit a bug?
If you tried this then it’s definitely bugged, but does it unlock when you go through the ending door at Hundun?
@@Feulfire was doing online, beat hundun while teammate was a ghost, after credits it sends me straight to main menu. I have the olmec ship and center white pearl on the door but no pixel guy

does it make a difference if you take shortcuts?
Steep it does not. The only characters you can’t use shortcuts to unlock would be the ones that are along the sunken city chain.
Because of skips, you can unlock Au from 1-4 (bombing volcana or seeing the black market entrance), Tina from 3 (ankh skip), and Dirk and Classic from 5 (Qilin skip)
You can technically unlock any character with shortcuts, even the Sunken City characters. But you'll have to be very good at doing skips. You can technically get to Sunken City with just climbing gloves, a jetpack, and/or ropes.
How do you get that pug thing next to the main door in camp?

I get this is kinda old but I beat hundun for the first time in a daily run and it didn’t unlock :/ anyone know what that means??
Daily runs don't count because you could just memorize it by looking at a video of it or something like that.
But what if u cant make it past level 1

Yahya H As long as you count 5 spaces from the right and fall straight down you shouldn’t have an issue getting it. There is a chance that you could have been VERY unlucky so just keep trying!

Put a rope exactly on the 6th tile from the right and fall from the bottom of the rope vertically. Your char should not move on the x axis at all! The fall will cause 1 dmg but you will survive. I recomend doing this after you have the ice caves shortcut.

I beat Hundun several times but I still haven’t unlocked 8 bit Guy. What am I doing wrong? Where would I have to look to find him?
Playing on a seeded run or daily challenge? There's no character unlocks on those. Gotta be playing regular.
@@MosoKaiser interesting. I’ve never done seeded runs or daily challenge. I play Adventure. Still not sure what I’m doing wrong to not be able to unlock this last character, but I can always try it again. It’s not easy 🤣 but it’s doable. Thank you for the reply, very helpful.

Hi, quick question, yo unlock gold guy, is it guaranteed to spawn his coffin ⚰️ in city of gold? I did seeded runs so maybe thats why his coffin fifnt spawn. Thanks ❤ 👍
Yep, seeded runs is the issue, no character unlocks on those. Same for daily challenge.

How cool would it be if each character had a special trait or something based on their bio? Ana could start with an extra bomb and rope, Colin with two more ropes(explorer), Margaret could have 2 more bombs, etc. there could also be trade-offs, like roffy could get twice the health from pets but starts with less health or bombs/ropes, there could be a barterer that can’t get helping hands, a sacrifice-oriented character (nekka?) that gets 1.5 times the points from live sacrifices and gets less blood from enemies maybe, gold man could get 50% more gold but take more damage/get less from healing, and on and on
Yeah but then it would be way easier for some characters. It’s balanced just the way it is and there is no real need for that.
Lise project could have more health kr maybe even have fire immunity like when you sit on a rock dog because she is made out of metal

You cant get characters in seeded runs , my tactic is to unlock the ice caves and get luckky , or use a hoverpack , they help a lot

To get to vlads castle you DONT need the eye. You can just bomb your way there like i did first time cuz didnt know. and done it other times i forgot the eye

From what i know, you cant unlock characters online, dunno if this includes Classic guy though

What about the eggplant guy? Kill the boss in tide pool. He drops a present with an eggplant. Sacrifice the geplant on the purple altar with the Easter island head next to in in the ice caves en its mouth opens up. Enter to find the eggplant guy.

This guide is for _playable_ characters. Eggplant child is an NPC but not playable (not without mods anyway).

Ok, I have one problem that maybe someone in the comments can solve.
So, me and my little brother just got to tide pool the other day, and the main reason we wanted to get there is because my little brother wanted Little Jay. We set up a shortcut there very quickly. We also got every character you would usually get before getting Little Jay. But even with all this stuff being done, we still can’t find Little Jay! We have looked and explored tide pool many times, and we can’t find his coffin! Does anybody know why we can’t find him?

@@tweektweak2145 we weren’t in a seeded game, we hadn’t unlocked them yet. We found little Jay though, even though it took forever.
