You ain't being harsh, these pissing agencys are mad if they think they can treat trades like a zero hour contractor, sending us all over the country and then cancel when we've gotten there. They'd slag you off to the heavens if you did the same to them and cancel on the day. Glad you got work and in a good head space after the mess about 👍
Did some work with a fire company guy. He had 7 vans, but numbers started from 5. I asked him whats the story. A very successful business man. He said when they started up they put a big van number 5 on their first van 😅😅😅😅 customers thought he was big
it's good to have principles. the fact that they didn't tell you is unprofessional and they should have covered your fee. i;'ve let things slide before thinking more long term but i have always regretted it. never compromise on core beliefs, i have been a doormat loads. it's a hard lesson. good luck

Sometimes I need the absolute basics like that to keep me grounded and no let my brain fly from job to job. Liked the fact you work at Forrest on match days. Sounds interesting in regards to what you, I bet it could be anything. Liked you talking about reports as well, how you do it, what you put in etc. As someone who wants to fully go out self employed within the next 7/8 months, this is invaluable to me. Saturday mornings used to be hungover and planning to go to the pub. I prefer this, much more interesting and worth while. Hope you keep these blogs up. All the best mate.
