I’m over here keep thinking that it was Toby Cecchini invented this drink in New York. Which he now owns the Long Island bar in Brooklyn which I guess why a lot of people keep thinking that it was first invented in Long Island, NY.
Great Video and I just subs ribed ! A girl friend of mine in the 1980s introduced me to this drink. I enjoyed it but my favorite drink was and still is A Perfect Manhattan made with Rye Whiskey !

I'm an old fashioned guy myself, but the Perfect Manhattan is an awesome cocktail...with a crystal clear rock of course.
