Glasgow City Centre on a Saturday Afternoon

A Saturday afternoon in Glasgow City Centre, starting in Buchanan Street, along Gordon Street, Up Hope Street, along Sauchiehall Street, down Buchanan Street and along Argyll Street as far as M&S, where I went in to buy some boxer shorts.

When you're squeezed up behind people's backs, temporarily point the camera over to the other side or somewhere - apart from seeing their nice jackets, we can't really see much else.

I was raised here and have some great memories but they were all made by ourselves, the people have a good sense of humour and are warm hearted. It is the climate that sucks, overcast and dull most of the time. Glasgow is farther north than parts of Denmark and Sweden

I used to deliver to Burberry on Buchanan Street many years ago. Been a fair number of changes since those days.
To me, Glasgow looks like a big version of what Newcastle and Sunderland would look like if they formed one city. There's some stunning Victorian architecture in the city as well as some 20th century tat.

I Love it too and certainly not a dump.Nowhere is perfect and Glasgow has beautiful architecture in the city and some of the friendliest people.
Going home to see family there is the best feeling 😊.
