Our approach to the Third Person of the Holy Trinity follows on organically from our discussion of the Second, and so we learn how the Holy Spirit makes possible the full and true continuation of the work of God in the Incarnation.

I enjoyed this video and discussion. Thank you.
I was a little confused about the question, on how the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father, and not the Father and the Son. In John 14 and Acts 1, it seems fairly clear that the Father will send the Spirit. Yet, also in John 14:16, Jesus says He will ask the Father to send or give the advocate, the Spirit.
Is there a difference? I've never understood the Holy Spirit being subordinate or lesser than the Father or the Son, but being like Jesus, doing as the Father shows...not lesser, but humble. Sorry if my question is confusing...
