Yes!! She was only trying to get child support for "their" baby. After all this precious little baby boy was his as well. He must have thought killing would solve these issues, plus what ever else was bothering him. Now he's lost everything.. So Sad 😢

All these trial titles are meant to get clicks. It was his mistress and child…the trial is of him so they are phrasing it that way to make more salacious. I’m happy they used the victim’s picture as the thumbnail instead of the accused’s picture. They deserve the attention, not him.

This poor mother fought so hard to stay alive for her son and they both suffered an excruciating death. May they rest in the loving arms of Our Lord forever in heaven. God bless her best friend and all her family who cares for them.
I am really impressed with these police officers, both in how they performed their duties and how they presented themselves in court. Excellent job!

5 years after this horrific event, the border and police officer show more emotion in their testimony that the 'father' pretending and faking emotion when his son is mentioned. Remember he tortured that poor boy weeks before the murders by injection him with a substance that made the child lame. He's a cold blooded evil killer - I hope he gets the death penalty!
He chose to spend the rest of his miserable life in prison, over paying child support. I will never understand the mind of evil!
After watching the beginning of this trial, I told my husband, “if you ever have a mistress and get a baby out of that relationship,,, I rather you be honest and help that baby. Don’t be out here thinking that I won’t find out because we have a lot of cases that we’ve seen together and all of those dumb fks get caught. I rather know by you telling me rather than to find out by some detective because you were arrested because you did the most dumbest thing you can do.” He had a WTF face but I think I got my point across.

He’s trying to be the defense team as well. He basically stated after the court room outburst earlier that he was looking at the defense team and wondering why they didn’t object. So he stepped in and stopped the Border Patrol’s opinion of his former Supervisor. I totally get that he doesn’t want a mistrial for inadequate defense when it goes to appeals, but to tie the hands of the Prosecutors is insane!

And to almost embarrass the attorney for trying to show the jury what a monster the defendant is and how he left his own son and to see how little and defenseless the child was! There should have been zero issue with showing the jury as they go into this with the understanding they will be seeing very graphic images and evidence. I’ve never seen a judge not allow an article of clothing to be shown. What a shame

It’s beyond horrific and heartbreaking. Defense attorney is a jerk, the judge very nice and the Prosecutor brilliant.
Cried while watching for hours. It’s emotionally exhausting.

The officer taking him to the station said that this guy was not under arrest. They needed to interview him as the boyfriend, to eliminate him as a suspect He may well have been placed under arrest at the station, but he’s not under arrest in the car, therefore not needing cuffs and the officer could allow him to take off his shirt. Whether we think that’s right or not is another matter.

You do realize he has right to talk to his attorneys and as unprofessional as it may seem to YOU, it is very common courtroom etiquette to be talking in low whispers or writing notes to and from your attorney especially when its being televised. If it was so unprofessional she would have been called out by the court already. 🤦♀️

How did this monster of a baby daddy convince Griselda to walk in such an eerie secluded area? She must have really trusted him, believed in him, and felt safe with him to walk in that area to meet him. It says a lot about her upbringing too. People with traumatic upbringings would look at this area ,and know something is off. Her family must have been very loving towards each other. This man is a monster,a real life monster to have injected that baby. Then to do what he did to them. This case really is horrible and disturbing.

The defense pointing out that he wanted to remove his Border Patrol shirt was not helpful. It shows that Anthony was overly concerned about his image. He murdered his baby and the mom because it was going to come out that he was unfaithful and he was concerned how that would make him look.

He’s shattered so many families, and has given all these officers trauma - there’s no rehabilitation for that.
This is the 2nd Boarder Patrol case I’ve watched. Imagine all the cases that slip through the cracks! Women and children that are laid to rest by corrupt individuals. Disheartening and absolutely vile! I’m disgusted! This trial is hard for me to watch. No faith in the ones that are to serve and protect!
Border patrol has been utterly corrupted. The difference between the actions of Laredo police and Border Patrol are so clear.
You can't judge them all, just because of the actions of a few ' rotten apples ' in the bunch.

That's now their job. Ask the head of their union. Ask any former BP Chief. They are basically working for the Cartels now and have lost over 85K children. Utterly corrupted you the core. Any good ones are most likely hanging on to the slim hope that a President who will allow them to do their jobs will get elected. Having to see the bloodied body of this young mother was bad enough for these officer's, but to see little Dominic, covered in blood laying there, then to have to view that clothing in court, again, has to be extremely difficult to bear. And no matter what some think, it's not something that you ever can get 'used to'.
My heart swells with empathy for the cops that had to witness the little boy and his Mom slain and still having to maintain composure whilst testifying.
Watching the medical examiner’s testimony was fascinating and heartbreaking 💔. The man is a cold blooded killer.
The defense tried to impeach the medical examiner’s excellent testimony but the Prosecutor was brilliant. Defense is scrambling to try and dismiss but he’s stopped because he’s an imbecile.
He doesn’t have a real story to justify the killer’s reasoning so he’s poking holes in every statement. Have you ever heard a good defense is a good offense. That’s his angle.

It’s because it’s a death penalty case. There are laws regarding how many attorneys, and what level of training they have for the defense in a death penalty case.

I liked that last cop and the video footage a lot, it was really informative. He needs to self-soothe constantly, fondles his hair, his arms, apparently bites his nails, has his hand on his face in court. He really thought he could get away with his "discovering the bodies" schtick. I wonder what the police officers involved think of him? I can't imagine they take too kindly to one of their own who slaughters a baby. This guy will be the most hated guy in prison. I do hope they searched his house for his clothing. Can't imagine what his wife would feel about that.

Parts of this trial is so frustrating I can't imagine being on the jury. 5 years to prepare and some of these lawyers can't speak well enough to get a material question out. Even on 1.5 speed some of the questioning is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I understand that newer attorneys need experience of an actual trial but Please, write your questions down if you need to instead of fumbling all over the place for a coherent question.
This prosecutor was horrible in the other border patrol case as well. He's lucky both are slam dunks.

The Prosecution is TERRIBLE! They are DRAGGING this case by their questioning. Even the Judge got TIRED of their antics and told the State to stop DWELLING on insignificant details! All of this getting down to point at a map, asking the same question 3 times.... it's EXCRUCIATING!!🙆 This prosecutor is not a good attorney! I have seen great attorneys...and they don't take an HOUR to do Opening Statements and need the Judge to remind them that their TIME IS RUNNING OUT! If I was on that Jury, I would be ASLEEP....DAILY!!😴🫨🥱 The younger attorney did a BETTER JOB, asking PERTINENT QUESTIONS and getting the right information out of the witness!! I understand they have to get the Context of the situation....but DANG!!! wow the fact that ronald tried to hide his middle name shows that he planned this murder of his ex girlfriend and his baby boy.
The injection of poison or whatever it was into the baby, his son after first meeting him precedes even that. He knew it was something that would injure or kill on that day and left the boy permanently damaged. The entire thing was premeditated from that, to even arranging to see her just 2 weeks later when he killed them. He manipulated her to get her there that day, and she let her guard down. Her sister worried about her even seeing him somewhere that wasn’t an open and public place. Child support documents, needles,having the 2 phones, being present at the “discovery,” and the LIES during interrogation. By the time of being at the scene of his own crime and lying about his name he was deep into this horror. He didn’t even make mention of knowing her or that the deceased little boy was his. That’s his blood and he discarded them and didn’t acknowledge them then or properly during interrogation. It’s so layered and traumatic. 😢
With the child support case pending against him, and Grizelda and Dominic being murdered at his work place, how on earth did he ever think he would get away with this? He was a supervisor in his work, so you would think he would have some degree of intelligence, he left so much evidence that I do not even know why they bothered with a trial, as the end result was inevitable.

The Judge is amazed at how unprepared the attorneys are and is actually advising them on certain procedures. Both sides are allowing witnesses to testify rather then answering yes or no to the questions proposed to them which is exactly what not to do. Most of the day was focused on the qualification of a witness as an expert. This should have been handled in pre-trial. They have pre-trial hearings specifically to address what will or will not be permitted in testimony as well as objecting to certain witnesses and other legal issues. This is done to ensure the trial moves forward efficiently and to not waste the Jurors time who are waiting in the jury room. I would be upset if I had to sit in a room for hours .

I agree. This is the most mis-managed court I have ever witnessed. The defense lawyers are a circus act and unprofessional. There’s Cruella in “101 Dalmatians, Professor Nash in “A Beautiful Mind” and Attorney Lucien (Donald Sutherland) in “A Time To Kill”. The Prosecutors aren’t much better. I would hate to be a juror or a witness in this trial. It must have been so frustrating. The Judge doesn’t know how to manage his court room. In my humble opinion….😌
There is no defense to these horrific murders. Amazing this cruel man is putting the family through this when he is obviously guilty. Just shows how demented he is. Genpop will care of him.
He’ll probably get protective custody bc even in custody they have to keep him safe. I expect all convicted officers are placed in protective custody bc they know they will be attacked at some point for nothing for their chosen profession regardless of what they are convicted of.

Some judges just like to wield control. They like the court to be really organized and speedy and they don't want the jury to get bored...... It's frustrating to see but it's not unusual for judges to control the courtroom that way. They also sometimes don't like to see attorneys stir up the emotions of the jury by showing them extra stuff. "Grandstanding"

It's difficult not to notice the lady sitting next to Burgos is a little too much in his space. I've noted on more than one ocassion that she has touched his arm, is sitting too close and constantly whispering in his ear. There are times the legal team does need to speak to the defendant, but not like she does. IMO, it appears she is flirting with him and is a terrible look for the Defense team. I could be wrong, but that is my impression and it makes me uncomfortable to watch especially in a courtroom.
The defense lawyer almost makes me sleep. Maybe time for retirement and his pension, sorry.

To me it’s a slam dunk case. Only thing that worries me is there’s no DNA, no weapon recovered, no eye witness. It’s all circumstantial really & what the texts say from her to her best friend. I just hope the jury doesn’t say there’s reasonable doubt because of no “hard” evidence. It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been let down by a jury when it was clear to see the defendant was guilty

That's a bit judgemental in my opinion.Her looks really have no bearing on what's important to this case. Keep you focus on the evidence,which is overwhelming against him at this point

Has anyone else noticed how the defendant is CONSTANTLY whispering to his female attorney. Everytime the camera is on them their talking..... makes me think he's just not interested in what's going on.
sorry but I am not very impressed with the prosecution attorneys with the amount of evidence they have so far they should be a lot more on the ball when questioning these witnesses they seem to stumble through their questions they should be a lot better prepared!

Why don't women do background checks to see if these men are married? This happens so often it's not funny. I just looked at another case where a Military man killed a girl he stopped to talk to after she got pregnant and his wife was on her way home. It's not worth it! It never ends good and to subscribe to a background service is only a few dollars per month. If you decide to continue with a pregnancy by a married man who has a lot to lose if it is found out that he has a child at least move away and take care of the child yourself (I personally would get rid of the pregnancy) don't look back and do not try to get him to take care of that child move on with your life, these men will kill you. If you know he is married and continue to deal with him then you should get all of your affairs together and have someone there to take care of your kids that don't belong to him because he will be killing the child you had with him as well as you! Stop thinking this kind of stuff only happens on TV, these are not scripted programs they are real and so are the people involved even though you are seeing it on TV.

@@VeronicaReveles408 With all due respect it is 2023 not 1973 all you have to do is to simply set up an account with an online people search website look up his name which will include all of his personal information along with his current address then look at his wife's personal information to determine if she is residing at the same address he is living in to find out if his story is true or not. I'm 57 and this is a piece of cake to do. These young women have so much more advantage as to determine if the man they are seeing is lying or telling the truth. When I was in my twenties and early thirties it was much easier for men to hide that they were married however there were still indicators to know he was lying to you even in those days, but today, not knowing is simply not wanting to know which is why some women are happy to believe everything that comes out of their deceitful man's mouth.

When the man is clearly AGAINST having the child and is willing to sign over his rights than the female should NOT be granted any type of child support . This woman had another child from someone else and no baby daddy yet she was doing the same thing again. The killings will continue unless these laws are changed ....this girl didn't even know where this guy lived yet she wanted to keep his baby . The man can't make her get rid of a child and he can't make her keep a child yet the woman has both options there does need to be a law against that! Of course he should be locked up for life for killing two people but that doesn't stop men from panicking and committing murder. Another component that ends up backfiring on women is "Blackmail" if you don't leave your wife I'm telling, If you don't pay child support I'm telling or I'm gonna file for support blah blah blah. If you are filing for support file for it and don't tell him! IMO she simply wanted to be with this man because once you have decided to file for child support you are suing him, you don't have clandestine meetings with people you are in dispute with, the courts handle these matters and you do not have to go off and meet these dead beat Dads unless you are in love and decide to leave your child alone with a man who's life is about to be turned upside down by child support payments and his wife finding out, then after leaving that child alone with this man he becomes so sick he stops walking and has a puncture wound on his leg that you'd rather call a spider bite, then you drag that child with you again to meet up with this man (whom anyone with at least one brain cell would be thinking he tried to kill my child, not a spider tried to kill my child) with you in the the bushes to meet up with the man who tried to kill him but this time he successfully kills both of you. I don't feel the least bit sorry for this woman all of my sympathies are for the child.

By the time of this last meeting she KNEW he was married and lived with his wife and kids yet she was asking how she looked and she was so nervous to get to see him again. She was totally in love with him and cared not one bit that he was married . Her friend and sister egged her on to go get that child support and to screw him. Well I guess that was the WORST advice you could've gave her . These type of killings will continue to happen til the laws are changed .

How do you defend the indefensible?! The defense has a very tough job! As regards the female defense, I do commend her for questioning the sister of Griselda very gently, and very few questions. The defendant never looks at her when she is whispering. She is, I think hiding her mouth and whispers as some people can lip-read. I think her appearance does not help her, and maybe she needs a 'makeover' to look more professional. I think the defense can only hope he does not get the death penalty, so I think that will be the focus for them. I do not understand why the defendant did not just confess to his wife, if they were 'separated' why would it matter?! Now his children have to live with the legacy that their father killed one of his children, and another child has lost his mother and brother. Like ripples in a pond, ever widening consequences that are going to affect the innocent for the rest of their lives!! Prayers for all involved, RIP Grizelda and Dominic

Idk that I like this judge. I got bothered by the faces he was making here like “wtf” he’s always stopping the prosecution from doing things. Idk if he’s scared or not sure that he will make the wrong call and have this case over thrown but he’s doing way to much. He looks so bothered and bored

Besides being on the phone throughout the testimony, at the 6:58 mark it seems the judge is prompting the defense to object to the testimony. He’s so unprofessional & it seems prejudicial towards the prosecution. Judge Newman from the Murdaugh case - now that’s who these judges should use to gauge a standard of professionalism.
Cameras in the courtroom are so essential to transparency….keeps all parties in check.

That female DA doesn't have enough experience...for such an important case, she should not have taken part in questioning.
