You murder a woman and her infant. Then you go back to the crime scene and tamper with the woman's body which is evidence and then you go and find one of her shoes which is evidence. How did you ever think this was going to come out in your favor? I'm glad Texas has the death penalty and I hope he gets it ASAP!! Both these victims suffered greatly, mentally and physically. I cannot imagine the anguish that the mother must have felt and also the fear that the baby must have felt. This was cruel, inhumane, and he needs to get the death penalty for it. The state of Texas needs to put him to sleep forever!

At first I thought the judge was a little rude, but I changed my mind when he was talking to Mr. shank. He was delicate explaining that the court couldn’t understand him. He gave an example of himself when he texts by talk and his phone can’t understand him. He was trying not to make Mr. Shank feel bad because of his age. I gained a whole new respect for the judge. He doesn’t play sides, and that’s hard to do in a homicide case. Especially when a child is involved. ❤

I know every little piece of evidence is important to put this monster behind bars or maybe the death penalty but this was the most boring day of testimony so far. To much talking about the cell phones and how the towers function.

The range of a cell tower, also known as its coverage area, can vary depending on several factors, including the tower's size, location, and the frequency band it uses. In general, cell towers can provide service for as little as 3 miles or as many as 45 miles. In rural areas, a cell tower can send signals to phones up to 20 miles away, but in densely populated cities with many physical obstructions, the range might be reduced to a mile or two. However your right about the 30-40 mile range in RURAL areas but in urban areas the range is significantly less with a max of 3-5 miles

This trial is driving me insane. Both the defense and prosecution seem unorganized and the judge has to help them move along. It’s like pulling teeth with these people. It’s a pretty straightforward case. The narcissistic criminal killed his girlfriend and his son, because she wanted child support. The DNA evidence speaks for itself. The lawyers seem unprofessional on both sides and fumble around to get to the point. I’ve watched so many trails, and this one is definitely one of the worst. Thank God the prosecution’s witnesses are cable and articulate. The witnesses are the real MVP! They are the only reason the unintelligent criminal will be found guilty. For so many lawyers on both sides, you’d think they’d be more organized and not have to shuffle through papers and get led by the judge. I now understand the judge’s annoyance with both sides.
