Well, the Olympic Peninsula was hard for me to get settled into, at least when I was there. Housing prices had gone way way up, I was having difficulty getting a job I liked, and the fishing and fish populations are now much worse than how they must have been when people like Doug Rise and Steve Raymond, whose books really inspired me to move out there, were writing. They closed steelhead fishing on the entire peninsula when I was there. I moved to Florida and so far I love it here. Nothing has been quite as fun as fishing for kings and steelhead, when the fishing for those is good, but between the weather, lack of people fishing around me, and ease of access to inshore fishing, I can't really see myself leaving Florida anytime soon.
❤❤❤nice
You give up on the PNW?

Best of luck to you. Steve Raymond’s books are great and I’m not surprised they inspired you too move out west.
