Easy Inlet Bluefish and Speckled Trout

I had been wanting to find a use for the P-Line Laser Minnow in Florida ever since using them for cisco up in Michigan. They seemed to do the trick cutting through the current during the changing tide. Making live bait work was a different story, as bluefish kept slicing the finger mullet in half without getting hooked. Smaller chunks of cut mullet weren't getting bit, though. Anyone have suggestions on improving hookup success for blues?
